  • Adults-only site close to the A55 expressway; dogs welcome
A scenic location in a National Landscape, but also easy access from the area’s main road – it’s a double win for Ty’n Yr Ardd Certificated Location, near Rhuallt in north Wales. This lovely location is within the Clwydian Range & Dee Valley National Landscape, so you know it’s an attractive area – and it’s also just a five-minute drive from the A55 North Wales Expressway. This site is exclusively available to members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club, and it’s an adults-only setup as well. And that means it’s been designed with the needs of tourers in mind, with spacious purpose-built hardstanding pitches that all have electric connection and grey waste disposal and are marked out my hedges for shelter and privacy. There’s also a chemical disposal point and motorhome service point on site. The views from these pitches are rather lovely, looking out over the green countryside with the mountains in the background. There are plenty of walks around (and you’re welcome to bring your dog along too if you like) – most notably on the Offa’s Dyke Path, which passes just behind the site and runs for 177 miles. You’ll also be within easy reach of various castles, historic towns and beaches – the north Wales coast is about five miles away.

What customers say

Beautiful scenery, amazing views, and a peaceful vibe. Guests loved the friendly owners, large hard standing pitches, and quiet spot near the A55. Pub and outlet shopping are close. Site is clean, but watch out for narrow lanes when driving in.

Liked A beautiful and quiet location with picturesque views of the countryside. If you want peace, this is the place.
A very well maintained and clean site.
We will definitely return and Malcolm is great. Book in at The Blue Lion nearby, it’s a lovely place to eat.

Disliked No dislikes as such however, we took a wrong turning in our twin axle tourer and ended up on some very narrow country roads. Make sure you have the correct address in as it’s not far from the expressway.
