What customers say

This adults-only site offers peaceful stays with lovely scenery and large pitches. Visitors praised the friendly staff, ease of booking, and clean, well-maintained facilities, including a communal games hub. While some noted a lack of hot water and basic toilet facilities, many appreciated the quiet, "back to basics" wild camping vibe, with others mentioning convenient access to local attractions.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Very Quiet Peaceful campsite for a weekend away. Handy Static Caravan with toilet and washing up facilities (this could maybe be modernised but it’s no issue). Drinking Water Tap. Ideal location for a few local amenities. We arrived at around 7pm on a Friday night and there was no running water - messaged the owners and they were on site and water was back up and running within 5 minutes which is 5* customer service. Would definitely stay here again for a peaceful weekend.

Local attractions

Beaches beckoning? If you’re all keen to get out on the waves, head to Kinmel Bay (15 minutes’ drive) for windsurfing and kayaking expeditions. Backed by cafés, the sandy stretch at Rhyl Beach (20 minutes) is a good choice too. Spend a day in Llandudno (half an hour) pottering along the promenade or jumping on the cable cars to travel up to the top of Great Orme Country Park for spectacular Irish Sea views – before getting back down to sea level again via the dry ski slope. If you loved walking the battlements at 13th-century Conwy Castle (half an hour), cross the Menai Bridge (45 minutes) to the Isle of Anglesey. Once there, explore the keep and chapel of moated Beaumaris Castle (55 minutes) and the formal gardens of Plas Newydd House and Gardens (50 minutes).
