What customers say
A rustic, wild camping experience with beautiful nature and peace. Hosts are friendly, pizzas are great, and pitches are spacious. Facilities are basic but clean. Muddy entrance in rain is noted. Spotty cell service is a plus for many.

Liked Friendly host. Weather wasn't great. Let us pitch in the field over the road which was less windy. Helped others move their tents out of the worse of the weather. Great pizzas also. 10/10 would visit again

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked I booked this campsite last minute at a great price and absolutely loved it. It’s a true wild camping experience – no facilities other than a compost toilet (which I knew in advance), but that was perfectly fine. The views were stunning and the starry skies at night were incredible. The owners were really friendly and welcoming, and the site itself was spacious, peaceful, and relaxing. They even make homemade pizzas until 8 in the evening – I didn’t try one, but they smelled amazing! Overall, a lovely place if you’re after a simple, back-to-nature stay.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Everything about this site, the land it’s self is really nice, the views and atmosphere is fantastic, owners are super welcoming and the pizzas are better than most restaurants 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Being 100% honest too there’s next to no WiFi but I liked this - maybe not the best for kids or those “campers” who watch movies, tik toks or instagram but get a fire going and chill out!

Good place to camp
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Very close to nature. River nearby which is beautiful. It has a compost toilet which might be a dealbreaker for few. But I should mention that it was clean to use and regularly maintained .
Disliked Area provided for handwash and washing utensils could be upgraded . Flow of water with footpump was sometimes tricky .
