What customers say

This large farm campsite has spacious spots in a lovely rural setting, with friendly staff and easy access to Llandudno and local beaches. Facilities are basic but clean. Expect potential weekend crowds and noise, with spotty WiFi. Good value overall.

Primitive grass campsite

Liked The atmosphere on the site was lovely - everyone was friendly and willing to help us out when we couldn’t find our hose connection. Facilities on the site were good and there was plenty nearby to do and places to eat. It was nice to see the animals and horses nearby.

Primitive grass campsite

Liked Great facilities and lots of open space, great size pitches, fantastic location with Llandudno about 45 minute walk away.We did walk into Llandudno and the caught a number 12 bus back to the campsite...We also visited Rhos on sea which is much closer...We camped without electric which was fine for 2 night stay so was great value for money...Toilet and shower blocks were a short walk from the field...We will definitely be back.

Primitive grass campsite

Liked Good location for popping out to Llandudno or surrounding towns with a large area to pitch. Bus stop a short walk from the site. Lovely owners and very welcoming. Good value for money.

Disliked Limited control over who parks/pitches on site. After parking up we spent the day in Llandudno, on return there was a tent pitched up two feet away from our campervan. Considering they were using a gas’s bottle we decided to move. The tent owners didn’t seem too bothered when spoken to on their return.

Toilets were basic but functional, though later in the evening some people forgot how to use these facilities. It was a bank holiday weekend I appreciate it was busier than usual.

Local attractions

Llandudno (10 minutes’ drive) is a cracking spot for a good wander, with shops, a pier, a promenade and a beach. You may spot a few goats wandering around the edge of town; they’ll have lost their way from Great Orme (20 minutes) just past Llandudno. The green limestone slopes of the Great Orme are not just for the goats, of course, with a tramway and a cable car providing access to the fab views from the 209-metre slope, a café or a playground. Back in Llandudno, get picked up by one of the open-top buses which run in summer from Llandudno Pier. They head over to stunning Conwy (10 minutes’ drive), past the spectacular 13th-century Conwy Castle, cobbled streets, bakeries and the cobbled streets typical of such a traditional Welsh port town.
