This clean, friendly campsite is in a beautiful area, perfect for exploring the Brecon Beacons. Guests rave about the spotless washrooms, roomy pitches, and helpful staff. The on-site pub is a big plus for food and ambiance. Mostly quiet, though the pub can get a bit noisy. Great value, highly recommended!

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Surrounded by lovely countryside, we received a warm welcome with lots of information about walks, local pubs, etc. the toilets were very clean and there is a pub selling good food at the entrance to the site .
Disliked Some noise from the busy road but it was quiet at night so no real problem

Well worth a visit and fairly priced too.
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely host made very welcome from arrival, so laid back too. Very quiet visit overnight, spent three nights here. Amenities good and clean. Chemical disposal, grey water disposal and clean water taps and hose. A good pub on entrance and an outside catering area also with plenty of room. Although best to book in pub as extremely busy. They had live music on Saturday night which was all good and didn't run on too late. To sum it up a good site for the family, couple young or old or even a single traveller. Catering for small tents to large motorhomes. Some pitches will require levellers although not too drastic.
Some great walks within the National park easily accessible.
Disliked Nothing really.

Disliked If taking an awning the gravel was hard to get pegs in but plenty of grass pitches with no electricity.

From the manager: Thanks for your review. To clarift, all the hardstanding pitches have grass to the side of them for your awning. Hopefully see you again soon.

Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Great campsite, excellent service. Janine is incredibly friendly and helpful. Before arriving, I received a text message with full instructions and all the necessary information. The pitches are large and have electricity, the bathrooms and toilets are clean, and there's a bar right next to the campsite with a huge selection of beers and good food. I highly recommend it.

Primitive grass tent campsite (solo)
Liked Friendly staff
Disliked Toilets and shower a bit dirty. Noisy place, maybe because a lot of people were also customers of the pub. Although the site at Dan Yr Ogof is bigger, it’s quieter and more comfortable.

From the manager: Sorry if you found the place noisy and showers dirty. Most people comment on how quiet and clean the site is.
