What customers say
Campers rave about spotless facilities, roomy, level sites, and stunning country setting. Owners are super friendly and helpful. Close to local spots, like a great pub/Indian restaurant, and hiking trails. A few mention road noise and wishing for more showers in busy periods. Highly recommended for a chill getaway.

Very nice family friendly campsite
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Really lovely family run campsite. Very friendly welcome. Facilities were very clean and modern. Free ice lollies for the kids was a really nice gesture.
Disliked The only small downside was proximity to the main road which was a little noisy but honestly a very small thing and really not a dealbreaker!

Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Picturesque smallish flat site on a working farm. Well signposted off the approach via good approached via good roads.
Owners were friendly, available & efficient. Card payments not possible, probably due to the fact that mobile phone signal is sporadic in this area.
Pitches were generous & nicely layed out.
Facilities are good, clean & look fairly new - the owners have been busy improving their site. Hot water was lovely & we didn't have to queue even when the site was busy.
Short walk to a village shop & the pub often mentioned on other reviews as it has top class Indian food & takeaway.
Good base for exploring this lovely area. Lots of nice walks around too (recommend the Llanymynech Rocks nature reserve).
Disliked Nothing much - it was a very enjoyable stay.
If pushed I'd say perhaps consider some slightly larger wash basins, where space allows, in future facilities upgrades.

Nice, welcoming stopover
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely welcome by the hosts and easy access in our 8.5m moho
Nice open field with decent sized pitches and some sheep grazing nearby
Short 10 minute flat walk to local pub where we had an amazing Indian meal and a chat to some friendly locals
Only used a one night stopover en route back from South wales but would easily have stayed another night or so if we didn't have to get back home.
Good use of space for the toilets, showers, washing up etc and clearly marked recycling.
Disliked Not a dislike but mobile signal (02) is a bit hit and miss
Option of a squeegee or mop in the showers so we can give it a clean down after ourselves so it's not left too wet for next user
