What customers say
This well-kept site offers amazing views of the Black Mountains and a handy, scenic walk to Hay-on-Wye. Guests rave about the spotless facilities, especially the showers and restrooms, and the super friendly owner, James. Pitches are large and level, and the peaceful vibe is a consistent plus. Some note distant road noise, but most can't wait to come back.

From the manager: Hi, thanks for your kind remarks.
When the customer booked it was for 2 hardstanding pitches and the special request was.
"I'm booking two pitches can they be together please".
Because the booking was just for the Saturday night of the August bank holiday I messaged and contacted the customer saying it would be difficult to get you together on the Saturday of August bank holiday but I said I could get you together if the smaller van went on grass. The customer said this was ok.
I always try to do the special requests to make the customer's stay more enjoyable.
I would never put a customer on a grass pitch when a hard standing pitch was booked without asking the customer first.
We are just a small quiet family campsite and there is a reception sign when you pull into the campsite pointing to our house.
Regards James.
