What customers say
This quiet campsite offers spotless facilities and spacious pitches. Guests loved the rural setting, nearby vineyard, and ice cream farm. Friday pizza is a hit! Some noted minor issues with flies, birds, or grass length. Overall, a friendly, well-located spot many want to revisit.

Liked Location, toilet block and shower very clean and kept well maintained as was the rest of the grounds.
Disliked All the wasps, I know can’t be helped this time of year but put us off sitting outside for too long, maybe a nest near to us somewhere.
My partner asked if we could stay later than the 11am deadline, the guy said was ok until around lunchtime and when he asked the woman at lunchtime she said there was no rush to leave. But at around 12.30 The guy informed my partner that a couple had turned up earlier than check in time of 2pm and had paid for 11 days, and wanted our spot and was told “I thought you would have gone by now!” But did say we can just pull it off and park up if we wanted. But it made us feel like we were intruding, so we packed up very quickly and left. We would have been happy to pay for a late checkout if we had known this sooner. We won’t be back.

Liked Pictouresqe field, clean toilets
Disliked Noisy bikes at night, only 2 nights out of 10 wasn't disturbed by them. Mill pond is just a hole with stagnant water, mill wasn't working unlike pictures on site. Had hot showers and clean toilets but only 3 showers in the camp and one you needed a pin to access, which we didn't get when booking in, in fact only had a five minute talk with owner the whole 10 days, didn't see them after initial meet.

From the manager: Hello, many thanks for your review. I just wanted to respond and say that we clean the toilets every day. We cleaned on Saturday and Sunday at 3-4 pm - a bit later than usual and apologies if you missed us. We also check them frequently. If we are ever out of toilet rolls or there are any issues, please let us know.
Happy you like the pizzas and site in general.

Facilities are modern and very clean and not too far away from the pitches.
Disliked Lots of flies due to the pond behind the pitches however that can't be helped.
