Powered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked What a lovely place this is! Stayed here for a couple of nights with the family and we have really enjoyed it! The owner is very friendly and helpful, and the location is spot on! Surrounding mountains are part of the Mach loop, so we also got to see some of the fighter jets in training from our pitch! Night sky from here was absolutely amazing!
The pitches are great, more than enough room, and our EHU tent pitch had its own gravel parking space which is great, especially for setting up and packing up! The pitch was also pretty much flat which is a bonus! Each pitch had its own picnic bench, we found this a really useful addition!
The facilities area is great, our pitch was close to them and we seen them being cleaned a couple of times each day. Showers are free and also properly warm! Free WIFI also!
We brought our dog with us, and there is a path on the site that leads onto a good loop walk, which can also include a river stop if you want, good for morning or evening walks away from the road.
We would definitely recommend a trip here if your looking for a clean, peaceful and friendly site in a really good location!
Disliked We couldn't think of anything not to like here!

A very enjoyable stay.
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Plenty of fridge and freezer space, even when busy. A chalet with soft seats and electric sockets. Always able to find a free shower. Quiet with lovely views. Able to choose your pitch.
Disliked The addition of a kettle would have made this a perfect site.

Good recycling
Toilets were old but clean
Disliked The WiFi is almost non-existent
Some of the pitches are quite uneven (I know it’s Wales so to be expected!)
Our drainage site on the fully serviced pitch was a very long way away and unusable

FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Delightful little site situated in the lovely mid welsh mountains.
Our pitch (5) was awesome, very flat spacious and literally opposite the amenities.
Nice and quiet too.
We had no issues using the showers and they were clean and hot everytime.
Views are amazing, the Solar Eclipse was brilliant to watch from the site.
Bird watching great, you can see the Osprey nest from the site.
Some good attractions within driving distance, for example, King Arthur's Labyrinth, The Osprey Project,RSPB Wildlife centre,Dyfi Bike Park and Dyfi Furnace.
All in all no problem.
We spent 10 days here in our little caravan "Nora".
