What customers say
This family-friendly campground boasts stunning views and a peaceful vibe. Guests rave about the clean facilities, roomy spots, and the owners' warm welcome. Its rural setting is perfect for exploring, with a nearby village offering a pub and bus service. While generally quiet, occasional noise and lineups for facilities were noted during peak times. The site's layout and amenities, including a communal hut with fridges and freezers, are much appreciated.

Fantastic all round site
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great chilled out campsite ideal base for exploring near by. We came for a MTB race and loved how close it was to the beach too (15 mins drive). Would definitely recommend. Very clear good facilities. We chose it as it has freezers and fridges you can use as well

Clean and easily accessed toilet block
Warm and comfortable laundry and drying room
Lovely views
Other campers very helpful
Disliked Not dislikes just information
It was my first time on a site and there was torrential rain
so my stay was cut short and I dont feel I got the best feel to it as I should if had been when weather was good
Wasn't clear where footpaths went and got a bit confused with signs at the site
Shame there wasnt a microwave in the Laundry Chill room

Big tents little tents. Plenty of space for all of us
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The field is beautifully flat and very well maintained. It appears to be a family-run business that has put considerable effort into accommodating all types of campers. Additionally, a bonus is being in the flight path of a few red kites performing low-level acrobatics.

Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We had a lovely stay at Gwerniago Campsite. The site is small, quiet and very well maintained. The facilities were clean and everything was well organised. The owners were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature away from busy campsites. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful camping trip.

Great location
FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Location, seemed remote but within walking distance of Pennal, which has a good pub and a regular bus service to Aberdyfi, Tywyn, Machynlleth, Fairbourne and Dolgellau. Children had a great time with a slide made from a length of piping and a rope swing
Disliked Needed to queue for toilets and showers at busy times

Great views but busy with families so not a romantic getaway
Powered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great amenities and stunning views. Pitch sizes were great. We had an electric tent pitch which had our own bench, water and gravel parking space. Only thing for us it is a busy site for families and children but is advertised as such. Nice woodland play area with slides and swings. As we are an adult couple we prefer the smaller quiet sites so this definately suits a family. Toilets and showers ok and clean. Slight smell not sure if its from the campervans waste though. Wifi had signal but wouldnt connect with correct password. Maybe too many already connected. Probably needs turning off and on again haha
Disliked Wifi would not connect
