Shepherd's hut (hot tub)
Liked: The scenery is beautiful, lovely walks, and we like the privacy, and the hot tub is an added bonus too. This was our third visit and will definitely be going back.
Disliked: The flies are a nuisance but easily sorted with fly spray. This obviously didn’t put us off our stay.

Shepherd's hut (hot tub)
Liked: The hut is gorgeous and well thought out for small living. Lovely finishing touches and quick communication from the owner. Loved seeing the different birds and a night sky that’s not affected by light pollution. Perfect if you like to be away from everything.
Disliked: Not a dislike but to make people aware if they want to nip to the local shop to grab basics on their arrival - it shuts early on the weekend (think it was midday) and by 5pm in the week. Nearest supermarkets outside of these times are around a 25minute drive away.

Shepherd's hut (hot tub)
Liked: We stayed for 2 nights and had a fantastic time. The hut is absolutely stunning, complete with microwave-grill, hob and toaster. The hut as its own ensuite, small shower but perfect. The kitchen equipment is enough for 2 people with all crockery and pots/pans etc. We had kitchen roll and tea towel/oven glove and dish washing equipment. The hut is very secluded, we didn't see another person except for a farmer tending his sheep. The under-floor heating is brilliant and makes the hut lovely and warm. It also has a small log burner which we had no need to light as the underfloor heating was sufficient. The bed is one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in with Welsh blankets to throw over if chilly. The outside area is beautiful with a fire pit to toast marshmallows and have a few drinks around, a superb hot tub which was already heated prior to our arrival, and a pizza oven for homemade pizzas. Once in that hot tub it makes no difference to the temperature outside and is a wonderful addition. The whole site is private and is not overlooked and is well cared for. We had several visits from sheep (fenced off from the hut), squirrels and birds of prey. Totally magical sitting around the fire pit in the evening listening to the owls. The nearest pub is 4 miles away (The Red Lion), which we visited for an evening meal. The food was lovely and plenty of it, and we were made to feel most welcome.
