Liked: The entertainment was 5 star both our children loved it and even me and my husband enjoyed too. The food was delicious we had 2 evening meals there. Staff were so friendly. Our girls loved the pool even though it was only 45 mins but we understand why they do the times. Crazy golf was fun too and the arcades. Definitely coming back.

Disliked: The showers in the swimming pool. I was washing my children down and the water went absolutely freezing with both of them under it. I had to get my 7 year old to hold the button in to keep it warm for her little sister while I washed her down. However i did bring this up to the receptionist and she was ever so apologetic and said she would get onto maintenance about it straight away. So as far I was concerned it was being dealt with. The hair dryer in the shower block stopped working too but we had our own in the caravan so that was such a big issue.

Liked: The nice big level concrete hard standing pitches with gravel side for awning. Close to two water stations and a clean esian point. Toilet and shower near by. The toilets are clean and well kept, a bit aged but nothing wrong with that. Push button shower on wall, with nice warm water, have to press alot of times as only short time per push but saves water and wasn't a problem. Swimming pool 50p per session. Changing rooms and toilets in the building. Club house with arcade room. Smugglers bar and merlins bar. Can't say about food as we didn't have meals there. Crazy golf £5 per adult and £3 per child. There is a dog walking area that dogs can come off there lead. Nice walk around park. Bin area kept clean and tidy. Reception staff nice and friendly along with the bar staff. WiFi in club house only.

Disliked: Not really a complaint, as of the Easter half term expected things to be on every evening such as some sort of entertainment. We found other thing to do and the bar and arcade where open every evening. We enjoyed the two singers and bingo that was on for the two nights.

Liked: Everything. I love this campsite! It’s just a shame they can’t control the weather! It would have been 5 stars had the fishing pool been accessible.

Disliked: The fishing pool is pure weed. It’s impossible to fish with the level of weed that is in there. This is a quick fix however it was mentioned last year & they still haven’t done anything about it. So stating it has a fishing pool is misleading.

Liked: Site about was great , toilet block, club house, swimming pool all easy walking distance. Enjoyed the bingo and entertainment in the club.

Disliked: The small gravel on the pitch was a pain had loads in our caravan from our shoes . The chips in the club house were awful would not order again, though the bbq cheese chicken breast was delicious.

Liked: Stopped for 2 nights. The site is clean and well presented. Great spot to use as a base to get to the coast or local sites with the kids. Nice tarmac pitches and roads made using scooters fun.

Disliked: Lots of children unsupervised in the games area of the bar/clubhouse and also the site in general. At night, children were cycling around in the dark with no lights on their bikes. This isn't necessarily the sites fault but it was quite worrying.

Local attractions

The traditional fishing village of New Quay, two miles away, is, of course, a fine place for fishing – such boat trips bob out from the harbour here, as do dolphin-spotting outings. There's a fine population of the marine mammals nearby but for a cast-iron guarantee of wildlife sightings you may like to drop in at the town's Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre. The market town of Cardigan (a hub for active pursuits) and the university town of Aberystwyth are both 20 miles away. Top local beaches are at Aberaeron (15 minutes' drive), and Llangrannog (20 minutes).
