General
- Family-run park between Aberystwyth and Swansea
- Four miles from the beach at Aberporth
- Pool, bar, clubhouse, amusement arcade and play area
Pilbach Holiday Park is a family-run holiday park welcoming families for traditional holidays among Welsh countryside, seaside and towns, set between the busy towns of Aberystwyth less than an hour away and Swansea within 30 minutes' south.
Each section of the park, from the spotless amenities blocks to the well-maintained pitches to the sunbathing area around the pool, is naturally secluded by well-pruned hedges blooming with bright laburnum. The many facilities on site include a heated outdoor pool with paddling area, a bar and a clubhouse, along with an amusement arcade and a playing field with swings and climbing frames. Activities including quizzes, bingo and swimming pool games are run by the site to keep all ages entertained.
After a lazy lie in, you don't need to venture any further than the convenient little on-site shop for your hearty (or healthy) brekkie goods, to set you up for a day exploring the area or kicking back on site.

Local attractions
History fiends, outdoor adventurers, seafarers, explorers, or just anyone who enjoys a good round of golf will find most of what they want within easy access of the park.
For beaches and spectacular scenery, start off at the sands and safe bathing waters of splendid Cardigan Bay, a top spot too for sailing and other watersports if you prefer to be on the water rather than in it. Amble into the village of Aberporth at the southern tip of the bay for another spectacular beach as well as a nosy at the bottlenose dolphins that live in its waters.
Other nearby beaches include Penbryn, Tresaith, Mwnt, New Quay (once home to Dylan Thomas), Llangranno (make sure to visit the trad pub overlooking the sea) and Aberporth, ten minutes northwest of Pilbach and with sandy rockpooling areas and a frequent lifeguard service. Snap shots at any of these for social media boasting, or trek six miles from Pilbach for more smashing photos at Cenarth Falls.
The busier holiday towns of Tenby, Saundersfoot and Fishguard (with ferries to Rosslare) are within an hour of Pilbach Holiday Park, or for a shopping fix, the university town of Aberystwyth is just under an hour to the north and Swansea is around 30 minutes to the south.
Exercise your hobbies including tennis, canoeing, golf and fishing around here too (the River Teifi’s salmon and trout make for a great catch or two), or take avid young Horrible History fans to brush up on their knowledge of yesteryear at the area’s castles, religious ruins, mines and woollen mills.

Hello
thank you for your feedback however I need to clarify on your comments, firstly for security reasons we don't normally give out codes for the access barrier as there's an intercom located at the barrier for nightly touring to press and speak to the main reception, they will then open the barrier and let you through, codes are given to seasonal touring guests who travel back and forth frequently, this is to retain security within the holiday park
you mentioned a women was drinking I'm assuming you meant the manageress at the park and I also assume it was a hot drink and not alcohol, I do know she doesn't drink alcohol, however we wouldn't allow a member of staff to drink alcohol on the premisses and whilst at work in any case, this would be an instant dismissal
you also put a low score for cleanliness, I"d be surprised if the shower block building which has just had a full refurb was dirty? this is checked vigorously and cleaned throughout the day
