What customers say
This spot's a great location, an easy walk to Aberystwyth. Many loved the clean facilities and hot showers. Pitches are usually well-kept and roomy. Some found it basic, with occasional cleanliness, signage, or reception issues. Still, many recommend and would revisit.

Pretty rubbish
Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Close to the town
The little handyman in his golf cart sorted everything and was lovely
Disliked The toilets / showers are ridiculously few, and pretty dirty! Pitch up booking was a farce and caused an argument as we were told pitch 6, when we arrived there was someone on it! No reception and no one answered the number given. After a bit of a disagreement there was a sign saying pitch anywhere! Why?! We ended up perching on a corner of grass - £100 to perch on a bit of grass with crap amenities - good enough for a short weekend at a push

Ok site but a bit disorganised.
Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Flexibility of pitches.
Disliked Told to park on any free pitch but then someone arrived claiming we were on their pitch. Very confusing.

Liked Great views, fab hot showers
Disliked The bookings chap let our camping neighbour use our electric as he said he didn't think we were coming when we were clearly booked in. Simple mistake I guess and quickly resolved

Helpful maintenance man on site
Disliked Wasps - but they were looking for the nest whilst we were leaving

Average site for the cost. Walk to town, down hill around 30 minutes.
Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Pitches were average size and well set out. Access to water and electricity etc was good. Evenings were relatively quiet.
Disliked The site seemed to have quite a lot of touring type vans on it that appeared to have been there for a while.
Toilets and showers were almost like portable type ones and could maybe do with an upgrade. No reception.

We left 2 nights early, avoid!
Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Nothing
Disliked Facilities were tired and basic. The site is unmanaged and not attended, Pitches too close together, but worse of all there was a large no of inconsiderate, noisy seasonal residents with lively children.

Awful 2 night stay
Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Location
Disliked No reception. Poor quality pre-fab wash rooms/toilets. Site over run with travellers who basically took over, feral children flying round on e-scooters. Their laundry hung along all the fence making it very awkward for people wishing to get water from the nearby tap. Loud, singing at night after a few drinks & lots of swearing !

From the manager: We have no control or idea who books through Pitch Up until they arrive on site. We did our best to manage the situation and we are sorry you had a negative experience. Best wishes for the rest of your Summer,
Over all it is a good place to stay recmonded
Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Clean and everything was managed apart from toilet tissue missing Monday morning but can be sort out from caretaker he’s always around.
Disliked It’s good for campers not for tent pitches if you want to feel like real mountains or fields atmosphere
