Peaceful rural location
Views from the gravel pitch

  • Adults-only pitches on the edge of an ancient woodland
  • A 20-minute drive from St Andrews and Dundee, with good trails access
  • Woodland walks on site and a pub five minutes’ drive away
If peaceful woodland getaways are very much your cup of tea, The Airdit is the place to be. These adults-only motorhome and campervan pitches are on the edge of an ancient woodland, surrounded by centurion beech trees and coppiced sycamore and 20 minutes’ drive away from St Andrews and Dundee. Great views are guaranteed over the woodlands and the Fife countryside, as are great woodland walks in the immediate vicinity. The remote destination has plenty of privacy; simply pull in, park up and admire your vantage point over the neighbouring fields. To make matters even better, the Airdit has great access to the Fife Core Paths network. The nearest pub is in Bulmullo, just five minutes’ drive away, and there are shops in Cupar, 10 minutes’ drive away. All in all, it's a rather fine spot for launching your outings across Fife, perhaps beginning with the many golf courses of St Andrews or museum hopping in Dundee.

The Copse powered gravel RV campsite

Liked Beautiful spot tucked in the trees with lovely countryside views. So quiet and peaceful- our only neighbours were the deer and red squirrels. Nice comfy chairs and a fire pit to use. The owner, Nick, came to check all was ok. He was very polite and wasn’t intrusive. Despite living relatively nearby, it felt like we were ‘away from it all’ for a night. Just perfect.

Disliked Nothing. Once through the gate it is a bit of a bumpy ride up to the pitch but just take your time - it’s worth it.
