Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Beautiful location on the loch, but convenient for town. Friendly welcome, flat and level pitch, good facilities. Everything generally well-maintained, clean and tidy. Excellent local takeaways and restaurants.
Disliked As it is basically a public park, there is noise from the various activities taking place there. A drumming group one evening was a low point! Wi-fi would have been good.
Ignore the negative reviews! This campsite is a good one
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Pitch size was great. Flat ground. Parking next to the pitch is always a bonus. Facilities were clean and ample
Disliked Would have liked a pot wash area. And the toilets and showers were quite a walk
From the manager: We do have sinks for washing dishes in both of our Laundry rooms
Would stay again.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Good site on the shores of a loch ,we stayed in a tent and the toilet and shower facilities were spotless. On arrival a member of staff talked us through everything and was easy to understand.Site was also close to the town centre with lots of amenities. Two good play parks for the kids and also a skate park.
Disliked Some loud noises in the morning but that’s what you expect in a rural environment with tractors and livestock. The site was not to blame.
