  • Well-maintained park with superb views
  • Next to Powfoot Golf Course; four miles from Annan
  • Next to a beach nature reserve
Peaceful, quiet, relaxing and nature-filled breaks are the name of the game at Queensberry Bay Holiday Park, a fab holiday park on the shores of Scotland's Solway Firth. If pubs, clubs and loud entertainment are very much not your thing, you'll find all you need here at this top-end and popular park instead, including an excellent little campers' kitchen with first-class views across the bay. The park also has excellently maintained showers and toilets, and a small licensed shop selling essentials like chocolate and the (also very well-regarded) Queensberry bacon rolls. The Queensberry team is keen to point out that those looking for golden sands might be better off heading further west along the coast; the beach here, however, is a beaut nature reserve filled with grassy knolls and pools, and a breeding ground of the protected natterjack toad. It's just the spot for Spot and other dogs too as it's a perfect place for walking the pooch.

Dunlin powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Large pitches with direct access to EHU and water. Toilet and showering facilities were 1st class. Large dog park was great.

Disliked No drain for emptying grey waste. Had to to be done manually via a bucket.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thanks so much for your feedback — we’re really pleased the spacious pitches, excellent facilities, and dog-friendly perks made a great impression! 🐕🚿
Appreciate the heads-up about the grey waste setup — we understand that manual disposal isn’t ideal and will look into how we can improve that experience.

Dunlin powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Not been here before. Julia was brilliant on Reception. Very welcoming and friendly with excellent customer skills. The touring pitch was very adequate and the facilities available for toilets and showers were super clean and a real luxury.
Great to be able to get a really reasonable pitch but have fantastic facilities to use around you. The bar and eating facilities were lovely too with great views outside. I’ve travelled up and down the UK to Scotland and stayed on a lot of sites and very rarely do you get all that in one place.
Great stay, albeit short, but will definitely return.

Disliked Nothing.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Hi there, what a fantastic review—thank you! We're absolutely delighted you had such a great first visit and that Julia helped start it off on such a high note. It’s wonderful to hear you enjoyed the pitch, spotless facilities, and everything the site has to offer. We’re especially proud to hear your kind words given your extensive travels—that truly means a lot. Can’t wait to welcome you back for a longer stay next time!
