Liked Great views and great location

Disliked Shower/toilet facilities weren’t very good, shower only had one setting(stupidly hot), not very clean even though cleaner turned up twice.

Liked Location was incredible, site was immaculate

Disliked We only found (as a motorhome ) one shower per male and female wasn’t enough and only 2 toilets

Liked it was a lovely site with views over the loch.

Disliked it was badly advertised on your web site as it showed a swimming pool and bar so only styed one night but paid for four with no refund. if its a sister site it should have been stated.

Liked Great pitch with water supply and electricity. Nice view on the lake. Clean and modern sanitary block. Nice to go for a swim.

Liked Non posso purtroppo dare una valutazione positiva al mio soggiorno presso Loch Lomond Holiday Park. I bagni non erano adeguati e le docce avevano addirittura l’acqua fredda. Inoltre, viaggiando con il camper, ho riscontrato che lo scarico delle acque grigie finiva direttamente sulla piazzola, una situazione davvero inaccettabile. Dal punto di vista ecologico, direi pessimo.


Unfortunately, I cannot give a positive review of my stay at Loch Lomond Holiday Park. The bathrooms were inadequate and the showers even had cold water. In addition, traveling with a camper, I found that the grey water drained directly onto the pitch, which is really unacceptable. From an ecological point of view, I would say very poor.

Liked Stunning location for the views. Great for getting into loch lomond. Great shop with good prices . Spacious, level pitches surrounded by lovely hedges, great privacy.

Disliked Toilet block very small with only 2 toilets and one shower.
Very limited for walking being right on the worst bit of the A82.

Liked The little beach area was lovely and staff were really nice

Disliked Our pitch had been having repairs done and the staff left scrap waste pipe and cable behind so it looked scruffy. No toilet roll by 8pm and bins were over flowing,

Local attractions

The loch – and beach – should keep you and the family/dog busy for a day or three after arriving at the park; after that, plenty more activities and attractions are easily had within driving distance. You could, for example, check out the views over Lochgoilhead (about 30 minutes’ drive west and much recommended), or get out onto the local waters with a Loch Lomond cruise or a guided canoe trip among the spectacular scenery of Loch Goil. Cycling, walking and fishing as well as shopping, restaurants and bars at Portavadie Marina 90 minutes' drive south-west; for more food, a famed and closer option in this area is the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar in Cairndow half an hour’s drive west, a place of acclaimed seafood and smashing views. Also at Cairndow, the Fyne Ales brewery is an environmentally-friendly venture set up in old farm buildings at Achadunan, with tours and a shop open to visitors. There's also the Ardkinglas estate, a 13th-century house with over 12,000 acres of hills and landscaped parkland (although do check its opening hours before you set off). Other options are Inveraray Castle, 40 minutes to the west; Inveraray Jail (with ghost hunting available) and Auchindrain Township Museum, just under an hour’s drive west.
