What customers say
A peaceful, secure, well-kept site with clean, modern amenities. Guests love the spacious pitches, friendly staff, and rural setting with easy access to local spots and canal walks. Despite some noting limited toilets/showers and occasional hot water issues for dishes, most find it great value and highly recommend it.

Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Lovely quiet site. felt very safe and secure with a coded gate for entry and exit onto site.
Lovely facilities, great size toilet and shower block.
Disliked Only something small… The water pressure was very low and made washing long hair impossible. But the water was lovely and warm

Lovely site. No roads close by. Level very spacious pitches.
Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Everything! Everything was clean and well kept! Toilets & showers especially.
I really liked the electric gate/gate code, it made me feel more secure as it was myself & my daughter.
It was lovely & quiet, we wasn’t bothered by anyone.
We just needed a few days quiet, and that’s exactly what we got.
We had EHU
We also walked part of the canal, which was a beautiful circular walk.
Disliked WiFi…. However it’s not a dislike for me. But there was good signal to my phone, so used my hotspot for the laptop to watch films.
(As it was raining lots over our stay)

Primitive grass campsite
Liked We were greeted at the gate by I presumed the owner. He told us where to go and gave us access code to the gate. Great open space to park, not many others around so we chose to park quite close to the shower block, which was very clean and had all the amenities required for our overnight stay. There’s also washing facilities if required for pots, pans etc. nice quiet location with only the noise from birds.
Disliked Nothing I disliked but if the site was busy I’m not sure there were adequate toilets and showers to facilitate it.

Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Cracking site easy to park up caravan as the spaces are massive. Very clean showers and toilets. Outdoor washing up facilities are very clean. Locked gates that are coded so very secure site. The camping field is very well maintained and very level field. 5 large 16amp electric pitches with a clean water tap. Owner was really friendly and helpful. Really clean site. Showers and toilets were very clean. There are two shower cubicles with toilets and two toilet cubicles and an outdoor washing up area. Very handy area as Trowbridge is close to Bath Bristol area and Trowbridge offers lots of shops very near. We do not live far from Trowbridge but my four year old wanted a last minute camping trip in the caravan with her dad in the school holidays just before starting her new school year. Very glad to find this little gem of a site and will definitely be returning.
