What customers say
This peaceful farm campsite has spacious pitches and great views. Clean, well-kept facilities (hot showers, kitchen) are a plus. Friendly owners, farm animals, and a quiet vibe are enjoyed. A few note the walk to facilities and shower temp control. Great value for a relaxing stay!

We loved our stay at Rouselands…
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked We loved our stay at Rouselands Farm! The field was beautiful, great view of the sunset and sunrise. Plenty of room so even being the summer holidays there was still loads of space away from each other. Easy to check in. Toilets and showers perfectly adequate, I imagine could possibly do with some extras if it was very busy but was not a problem for us. Unfortunately due to the weather and government announcement regarding fires we couldn't use a fire pit but that's completely understandable and no fault of anyone! We will definitely be back.

Liked Lovely hosts and farm owners who shown us how to feed the calves and told us a lot about cows and farming. Extraordinary sunsets, very spacious field for only 10 pitches so plenty of space for the campers. Very peaceful and quiet. Nice clean toilets and lovely hot showers, with fridge and kitchen area. The cows and sheeps are so adorable, great experience for kids. Exceptional value for money. Will definitely be back again very soon.

Very nice campsite.
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked The field is open and quiet, can choose to pitch where you would like to be (not fixed pitch). The farm is fun to wander around, and there is toilet, shower and kitchen facilities to use. Had a relaxing couple of nights here, would stay again.
Disliked No fire but thats on the government warning text not on rouse. There are fire pits to hire with logs, and also meats to buy from the farm, hoping next time the earth won't be so scorched.

A peaceful site on a working farm in a good location.
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked We loved the space at this site, and the limited number of people at any one time. Coming back from a day out knowing we weren't going to be crowded out made for a relaxing holiday. The site was peaceful, no road noise and the cows in the field next door were pretty quiet, only occasionally mooing in daylight hours. We also liked having access to a fridge and freezer. The kitchen also had a kettle and microwave available for use if required. There were two showers and toilets but due to low occupancy limit we didn't encounter a queue. There was plenty of hot water too.
The location of this site is brilliant, we were able to get to all local attractions in around 15-30 minutes and there is a lot to see and do in the area. We'll definitely come back and do not hesitate to recommend Rouselands Farm. Communication was good and Ali was friendly and welcoming upon our arrival.
Disliked A small detail, just a personal annoyance really, the location of the drain for the shower meant the water runs across the whole shower room floor so there is nowhere dry to stand when getting dressed. If this bothers you, consider taking a small raised platform (decking square for example) to use. The facility block is quite a walk from the camping field so we took our own camping toilet. It would be good if there was somewhere to empty this easily, or a sign to confirm if it is ok to empty into the toilet.
