Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked: Amazing place. All staff very friendly! Swimming pool was a big bonus (had to pre book a slot on an app but it’s free and it makes sure it’s not too crowded). Close to local pubs and Weston-Super-Mare! Very well tended fields and great locations for pitches (you’re allocated a number pitch). Well maintained play parks and great entertainment for the evenings
Disliked: The weather! (Can’t be helped anyway!). The ground for pitching the tent was great condition and held our tent strong!

Liked: Very very clean site and toilet/shower facilities. heated swimming pool ,clubhouse, arcade, several parks(all free of charge with booking) lovely restaurant and takeaway at reasonable prices with very friendly and helpful staff
Disliked: Tentpitch was very windy wich resulted in a few people not actually pitching up.
In the campsites defense though it is a new area and they have started planting hedgerows to break the wind that is causing the minor setback we did witness but wasn't affected by ourselves

Liked: Facilities were great.
Disliked: Very open pitches, extremely windy! Gusts of 36 miles per hr this weekend.

From the manager: Thanks for your feedback, we're glad you enjoyed the facilities :-) It was a very windy weekend - unfortunately we couldn't help that. However, we have planted hedgerows around the camping field and once they are established, they should act as a windbreak.
Excellent site - couldn’t fault it!

Liked: Everything with this site was spot on! Facilities were fantastic, spotlessly clean, great size pitches, entertainment for all ages, food/drinks were very reasonably priced and delicious, small arcade and lovely sized indoor swimming pool which was great for our little one and staff were fantastic and super friendly! Christine on reception went above and beyond and was ever so friendly and Lee was a fantastic all rounder so friendly and absolutely hilarious during the evening entertainment! A big shout out to the guy at the arcade we had a little incident Friday night were our little girl somehow got her arm stuck but he was so calm and collective and quickly managed to help with the situation so thank you! Will definitely be coming to stay again, the whole experience had a big thumbs up from us!

Liked: All staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I had an issue on arrival and it was sorted within 5 minutes which was fantastic. Swimming pool was clean and adequate. Pitch sizes were good. Bar prices were reasonable. Entertainment was great, my daughter loved it. Plenty to play in the arcade and very generous shop assistants gave my daughter a few extra prizes for her tickets! Shower facilities were very clean and well maintained. Will absolutely be back!

Liked: Club house was clean and tidy as was the pool. Play areas were well equipped. Site was kept well and toilets were very clean. Lovely location overlooking the river!
Disliked: Curfew of 10pm however club house music was on till 1am with drunk campers coming back to the tent and disrupting our sleep. No warden came to check and the arguments and drunk crying went on past 2am not great when you’ve got young children! Feel like the camping area could be staggered with a mix of campers and tents so you’ve not directing next to another tent. Play areas were well equipped however the material used for the floor totally ruined my daughters new trainers leaving all black marks. I feel as though the clubhouse is too small for the volume of people staying and the parking situation outside isn’t great, too squashed in.

From the manager: Thanks for your feedback. We're happy that you enjoyed the facilities and location. I notice that you booked a large pitch (9mx17m) and we don't put restrictions on how you lay out your tent or equipment, so we're a bit confused ref your comments about tents being next to each other . . . if you'd like to get in touch with more detail, we'd appreciate it :-)
