Power optional grass tent campsite (sloping)

Liked Quietest camping I've ever been to. Very well kept grounds, great toilets, nice hot water in the showers and all the facilities you may need, including WiFi! Simon was super nice and always helpful. And our neighbours were lovely too. Caters mainly to caravans but we used one of the few tent pitches.

A - FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Nice site well kept gardens very clean showers and toilets . Nice welcome from wardens helped us set up .

Disliked We where bit shocked by the static caravans and seasonal tourers and the fact that we was on a slope no way could we put our awning up . Not keen on static tourers are not for seasonal pitches hence the word tourer.

A - FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Lovely warm welcome from wardens Karen and Rob, with offers to help set up our pitch and lots of info on the local area. A quiet and friendly adult only site with very colourful plants and flowers all very very well maintained. Pub a very short walk away with garden and serving food.
Facility block very clean, with plenty of hot water for the showers (push button).
Lovely dog walk. Small shop on site with milk etc and frozen goods.

Disliked From our personal view we felt that it was a shame that from this year there are only 3 touring pitches available, the rest of the site taken up with static vans and seasonal caravan pitches, the pitch we had was ok but if we had wanted to sit on the grass you would have been overlooked closely from above by the seasonal caravan patio behind us, the photos on the website do not show this only touring pitches. Although the facilities block was very clean the toilets and showers to our mind could be now updated.
