What customers say
This campsite is loved for its peaceful lakefront setting, great for water sports and walks. Guests praise clean facilities, spacious pitches, and friendly staff. Some noted cleanliness issues in overflow areas, occasional noise, and difficult access via narrow roads. Value for money was also a point of discussion.

Excellent for those looking to use the water. Clean and peaceful.
 Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Great location and perfect for those adventuring onto the water. The showers, toilets and wash up area was clean and did the job. The site wasn't massively busy and everybody respected the rules and quiet times.
Disliked It was not as easy to find as I thought, it took a bit of detective work but then again i was probably more concerned with arriving in one piece in my old land Rover than following directions.

Lovely site for families
Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Very family friendly. Relaxed atmosphere. The lake is beautiful and children loved the play area. There is plenty of green space to play in. All pitches are within easy reach of the drinking water and pot wash stations.
Disliked There are only 3 unisex toilets, which were cleaned morning and afternoon, but became smelly quickly and ran out of paper overnight, due to the high numbers using them. We felt the self-launch fee was a lot and were surprised there wasn’t an offer for those who had paid for camping.
