Quiet, adult-only site. Praised for spotless facilities & great location for exploring Wells/Cheddar. Friendly manager & nearby pub with good food appreciated. Minor notes: shower pressure, paying for showers, on-site pub closed.

Liked Nice small site, Tom very friendly & helpful.
Pub just outside the gate.
Shower block looked ok, we used ours in the van.
Adult only site which is great.
Other reviews mentioned the gate, I was expecting this to be difficult to get in, it was not, unlock & drive in, so the site is secure at all time which I appreciate.
Would stay again.

Could be fab but needs some TLC
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Location is great for walking in the West Mendips. Site is located behind a great pub, serving really good food and drinks.
Disliked Grounds are a bit shabby and untidy and need a dose of TLC to meet their potential. The pitch up description is of a site 'full of flowers', I looked for them and found only one fading flower in a planter full of dead twigs

Nice site, friendly staff, plenty to do in the local area.
Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Adult only so was lovely and peaceful, pub at the entrance was lovely served gorgeous food. Plenty of Strawberry fields around and lots of animals in the area too. Short distance to Cheddar Gorge too.
Disliked Smell of dog pee was over powering on hot days, not a fan of paying 20p for 5 minutes of shower which is like a shower at a local swimming baths, think could just do with a little update. Also charges to use fridge/freezer & washer/dryer.
