What customers say
This well-kept spot offers a friendly, peaceful vibe with great amenities like clean private shower/toilet cubicles, a games room, and an honesty shop. Guests love the beautiful lakes, roomy sites, and dedicated dog park. Hosts are consistently called welcoming and helpful. Minor notes: Hinkley Point is visible, occasional industrial noise occurs, and the on-site shop has limited stock. Highly recommended for families, couples, and dog owners.

Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Everything, very quiet. waking up to birds singing, a walk over to the lakes to watch the herons, and the fish jumping to keep an eye on the heron, absolutely magicall. on site shop for necessities but a bigger store 2 miles away. a very nice site perfectly sited as a gateway to devon and cornwall.
Disliked only stayed for one night.

Overall a beautiful site and would recommend a visit.
Power optional grass tent campsite
Liked Good location, well stocked spa a mile down the road. Easy to find and good access roads. The site itself had lovely lakes, very pretty and nice relaxed vibe. Good dog play area and childrens playground. Handy games room with microwave and fridge freezer. Good little honesty shop. Nice washing up area with lots of hot water and self contained loos with sink and powerful shower. The owners themselves are very nice and helpful and maintain the site very well.
Disliked I didn't like the unisex toilets. Lots of men leaving the seat up which means women have to put it down. Lots of wee splashed.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked cleanliness, easy to find your way around, the play area and dog park are clean and in a great spot.

Excellent camping experience - would definitely go back.
Powered grass campervan campsite
Liked Clean showers and toilets, playground for the kids, games room, books available to read, washing up station, beautiful lakes, and close to the north Somerset coast.
Disliked Lack of privacy on the site - could have used some hedges or trees between pitches, but this was a minor detail we knew about coming to camp there. Not a surprise, and didn't deter us from going, just the one small thing that would make the site a little better.
