What customers say
A straightforward pop-up site offering a back-to-basics experience in a large, flat field. Praised for its prime location, great value, and ample space, many enjoyed the peaceful vibe. Basic portaloos/showers need work for some, but others found them clean and sufficient for the cost. Bell tent hires are spacious and good value. Friendly staff and nearby pubs, beaches, and amenities are major pluses.

Good last minute accommodation option but not particularly peaceful
Bell tent (four person)
Liked Well located for the coast, nice pubs and motorcycle museums! We stayed in a bell tent which was well set up and comfortable, the toilets were fine, shower was lovely and warm.
Disliked Unfortunately we could hear the nearby dual carriageway and roads pretty loudly all night so not very peaceful and the bell tents were all pitched close together so could hear every word our noisy neighbours said and had to ask them to please quiet down. The site is a big open field so a recommendation would be to put tents a bit more spaced out when the site isn’t fully booked

Great site, easy to find, clean facilities and helpful staff.
Bell tent (four person)
Liked This was our first time camping, although, we stayed in one of the glorious Bell tents so some could argue we didn't really camp!
It was perfect, quiet, clean, and exactly what we had expected. The portaloos where clean, showers warm, and Rob was very helpful.

Great stay
Primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Nice and easy turn up and pitch up. Large field and opportunity to set up wherever. Easy drive into local town and Bournemouth. Greeted upon arrival and was checked in with no hassle. Toilets are outdoor style but run warm water.

Bell tent (four person)
Liked Location- close to the beach and easy to find
Fabulous meal at The Oaks- 5 mins drive
Large field
Bell tent itself was a decent size and good parking beside our tent
Showers and toilets were reasonably clean and water was warm
Disliked Inside of the tent was pretty dusty- floor and air mattresses needed a good hoover
Air mattresses on camp beds were so noisy, if we had stayed another night I would have tried taken them off the camp beds as everyone woke up when someone turned over in the mattress
No lock on tent or suggestion to bring one- meant we had to repack when we went out
No soap in the dispenser by the sinks

Disliked As you arrive, bins surrounded by rubbish.
Very poorly maintained campsite.
Stinking portaloos.
Not worth visiting at all!

Very very basic camp
Primitive grass and earth RV campsite
Liked Close to where we wanted to be.
Disliked Portaloos as toilets - for a festival ok but would have expected more on a campsite. No roof over dishwashing sinks. Everything gets really muddy. SHould have made really clear that this is a pop up campsite with festival flair. -basically a field with some mobile units. Showers mainly cold.

I would not recommend this for bell tents Recommendations needed!
Bell tent (four person)
Liked The views and sky at night.
The toilets (good for port a loo) were clean and always had toilet paper and hand wash.
Showers mostly warm.
Big camp site and was not too busy.
The beautiful pub about a ten min easy walk with live music!
Disliked Arriving with 2 x blow up beds not inflated and asking them to fix to which the staff member said they don’t fully inflate them that’s why they are not fully done. This should be down to the guest to state this is a recommendation you should make - pump your beds full each time and leave a pump they need pumping each day but leaving is with nothing is shocking. when asking for the pump told didn’t have one! As they use electric pumps which are in the car ???? Only on the last night did another member of staff give us one after complaining again which occurred in each bell tent we hired ( 3 in total).
Arriving and ordered 2 x beds in the bell tents only to find 1 x bed ( I had 2 kids with me) very frustrating when you arrive at 1600 waiting to get every thing sorted for the evening then when you call the number provided it rings once and goes to voice mail no answer!
The tent windows and door was left open and when we arrived at 1430 it was wet and had puddles in the tent! Had to use my towels to mop this up and remained wet throughout my 4 day stay. Another couple left as there tent was completely wet. Observed a couple phone ( when you arrive you get a wot app message on some occasion to call if you need help, which I did not receive only the number from the confirmation) and request they are moved as their tent was wet and no member of staff came to dry their previous tent resulting again the next day a new couple arriving to a wet tent!!!
Someone has reported a shower not working ( not me) I think it was a minor problem the gas tap at the back had fallen out no fault of the owner but when it was dark a member of staff went to fix it ( again noting this was about 8 hours later) as as we were closest asked us for a head torch that the kids were using to run round in the dark with! So showing up in the dark with no torch??? Also one of the showers have a sign on them constantly saying this is a Cold shower - why do you want just a cold shower when camping resulting in only 2 showers then being hot out of the 3 for all the camping people?
The bell tents are not the traditional ones that have a front porch so when it rains you cannot cook under them or sit under them your stuck inside ( 4 nights 2 beds £270).
The wooden crate that had a hole in the middle for kids to stand on when washing their hands - yep hole in the middle which then had many kids all fall when dark outside the hand washing facility.
The phone number to call on your confirmation email ending 967 only rings once and goes to voice mail so when you have problems like all above no one is there!! I am still waiting 5 weeks later for your call back!

Basic pop up site with portaloos and wooden outdoor showers.
Primitive grass and earth RV campsite
Liked Very easy to book. Fair price for the area its in. Then just turn up and park we neve say any warden. Its a massive field basically with portaloos and pop up showers that were hot enough but very basic and 2 washing up sinks. Don't expect anything more.
Disliked Nothing really. I read the reviews and description and received exactly what I wanted and expected. I did see a few dog poos not picked up which is a shame on the owners of the dogs. There was a bit of road and railway noise through the night but didn't bother us. Portaloos needed a clean.

Not for us
Primitive grass and earth RV campsite
Liked The location is good with a few pubs and a shop within walking distance.
Disliked The site was not for us. There was no vibe and whilst we’re used to basic sites, this was incredibly basic. The portaloos were smelly and I didn’t trust the shower cubicle (built with chipboard). We were bitten all over, there was quite a bit of noise from the bypass and trains passing on the nearby tracks, along with a dog on the loose in the middle of the night barking so we had an awful sleep. There was also dog poo left in the field. We were meant to stay for 2 nights but left after the first night.
