What customers say
Spacious, basic site with stunning sea views & friendly owners. Generous pitches. Portaloos/showers generally clean, but could use updates. Campfires allowed. Close to amenities & walks, though waterside access is tough. Peaceful, back-to-basics stay.

Liked site was clean
Disliked The behaviour of others staying making it very disruptive for others. Behaviour like this should not be accepted as makes the experience for others unpleasant . The family had a disagreement but voiced were raised , aweful language . This went on for 2 hours ! I don't expect my daughter to have to listen to that when all we wanted was a nice peaceful and happy night camping

Brilliant basic site away from all the noise, this is perfect
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Lovely basic pitch nice to know it's used for the animals when not a campsite, lovely view pitch was so large Iwas shocked, plenty of toilet availability.
Disliked Track to pitch very damaging to your car if has been lowered but that's more my problem then the farms as is used for animals. Didn't like being td where to pitch we got out near very noisy teenagers who had no respect for the people around them for this reason I sadly would not book again.

We would go again.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Very spacious, helpful host, great location, campsite in good condition.
Disliked Toilets and showers.
It is very basic on the site but I feel as if the toilets and showers could be better maintained throughout the day.

Peace and quiet for a great price
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Quiet and peaceful. Toilets clean and always stocked with toilet paper. A bag of firewood was only £10 and delivered to our tent. Pitches enormous and well spread out. Lovely view across the Fleet, facing west so you get great sunsets. Ideal for walking (the SW Coastal Path runs along the bottom of the site), and only 10 minutes drive to Weymouth. Close to supermarkets and fast food places. Even the ice cream van visits the site. And whole stay was really cheap compared to other places.
Disliked No major dislikes. Showers tended to be either scalding hot or freezing, but they're run off gas bottles, so I just had cold showers. Really windy site at times - not a problem as such, just make sure you have a good tent.

Liked Great site. Beautiful scenery, shops very close by 2 minuites drive. One of the things I loved also is that the toilets are clean.
Disliked Very windy struggled getting tent up but that’s not to take anything away from the site overall as when tents up great place to be

Overall a great stopover for us. Would definitely go back.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Great site with large pitches on a slight slope. Stunning views over to Chesil beach. The food (burgers, brekkie baps, tea, coffee) van, although only open a couple of hours morning and evening was excellent. Toilets and showers are basic (porta) but do the job.
Disliked The wind! But being in Weymouth this is not an option ;)
