Liked: I love Revels ! Lovely pitch next to a lake (that we fished most evenings) facilities are basic but good, shower is hot, toilets clean. Very relaxed atmosphere and amazing countryside. If you like fishing, the shop is absolutely fully stocked with bait and equipment. The staff are amazing !

Liked: If you love fishing and camping, this is the perfect spot! The place is well-maintained with clean toilets, beautiful views, and very affordable prices. We had a fantastic time here – it’s an ideal location for a quick weekend getaway.
One of the great advantages is that there are no fixed check-in or check-out times, which makes the stay even more relaxed. A daily fishing ticket costs just £7, and my 6-year-old son could fish for free – an amazing bonus!
There’s also a well-equipped fishing shop on-site, which made things much easier for us. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax, fish, and enjoy nature!

Liked: Lovely setting, you can pitch anywhere, I was near the lake. The site is basic, but has what you need. I didn't use the toilets or the shower (it looked very basic) but usable. Fishing is good, amazing shop, the two men are fantastic and very helpful. Really lovely setting.

Liked: Countryside location next to fishing lakes.
The site is basic but toilets are cleaned regularly and the shower is fully adjustable for heat and height.
Price was good and i had a choice of where to pitch. Quiet time from 10pm.
Disliked: Road fairly noisy.
Shower cubicle has nowhere to keep clothes and towell dry as hooks on door so close to spray.
Bins were overflowing even though site was quiet.
Camper van was allowed to pitch literally a few metres from the front of my tent despite the rest of the field being empty.

From the manager: Thankyou for your comments. I will point out that you did stay straight after the Bank Holiday week our busiest busiest week of the whole year and the bins in question were the recycling bins that we only get a bi-weekly commercial collection for and were actual emptied the day you departed and were the contents of this peak bank holiday week. As for pitches we only have 8 electrical pitches and although quiet the time you were here it was just these 8 that were all booked. One of a favourite features is that we do not pre-allocate spots and people are free to go where they choose over the 2 acres field on arrival. i have no baring where people set up and often praised. As people are free to pitch up anywhere i did not site the van on the next hook-up to you and was still a reasonable distance from you but you would have been free to mention to them if you felt too close and nothing was said to me however all the numerous other points you did see me about were dealt with i.e. right over the other side of the field someone talking to loudly and sound of texts on people phones and more were all dealt with i am afraid i am unable to furnish you with a totally exclusive empty field!!!
Basic facilities but exceptionally clean staff friendly
