Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The lady who greeted us was lovely.
The field was quite flat which is always a bonus as you won't slide out of bed.
It was nice and quiet and very relaxed.
We thought the site was more old school with the toilets and shower in the large barn....very basic but we prefer that.
Farm shop within 5 minute walk and a garden centre across the road in case you have forgotten anything.
We were allowed an open fire off the ground which we wet the grass a lot by the way as its been very dry.
The beach is only 15 minutes away.
We will definitely be back

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Hi. We've had a very nice time. There was a 17 of us in total, 7 tents. Lovely scenery. Very close to the beaches, 14min drive. Tank museum 13min drive and it was spectacular (according to my son, he is 9...me also:)
Despite a heavy wind we've managed to have bon fire every night (highlight of the whole stay). It's huge field with lots of toilets and hot water to clean dishes and shower.
Yes, the whole group, recommends this place.
Thank you
Disliked Hi. It was windy and I am not to sure if its always like this or just during our stay, really don't know.
There are fields just behind the fence, really beautiful and 'green' fields with path to walk, unfortunately not for 'custommers'. It's understandable as owners trying to keep this area free from tourists. However, if 'welcomed go in for a walk then probably one of the highlights of the stay as it's really nice.
Place could have some space for kids as there is enough space to build one.

10/10 couldn’t find any issues
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Everything! Couldn’t fault it. Hot showers, lots of toilets, cleaned all the time, very tidy site with the large bins. Taps and sinks all around the toiletries areas, washing up stations, plenty of hand soap, mirrors, lit up at night too! There is a large freezer available for use (shared), handy for storage. Always had toilet paper!! Plenty of space in the field, the owner comes round in the evening, once you’ve checked in via text to have a chat. Dog friendly, quite flat ground. Great area to drive 10-30 minutes away from various local attractions. Would really recommend for a great ‘inland’ campsite. Was absolutely perfect for me and my boyfriend. Toilets are unisex but honestly was not a problem at all. Plenty of toilets and 5 showers, never saw a queue for showers. Friendly, and family oriented, quiet time is after 9pm but it was very chilled the entire time. Local petrol station and farm shop 30 second drive away. Very well looked after, one of the best campsites I’ve been to for a very good price. Will be returning again!! Thank you :D
Disliked I wish they had availability outside of August bank holiday weekend! Service comes and goes on my phone (with Tesco mobile), my boyfriend is with EE and had more luck. Better service on the other side of the field closer to the entrance/ middle, we were on the far side, but that’s first world problems for us youngsters!!
