What customers say
Hobby Farm is a peaceful, adults-only campground lauded for its lovely rural setting, private pitches, and spotless washrooms, showers, and communal fridge/freezer. Visitors appreciated the quiet ambiance, wildlife, and closeness to local sights and a nearby pub. While mostly a relaxing getaway, some noted minor upkeep needs and narrow access roads. It's a simple, laid-back experience.

Liked A nice peaceful campsite. I was looking to test out my Tentbox out in winter conditions and this overnight was perfect. I survived the -3 degrees. Nice, clean facilities. It had all I needed. Lovely views for a sunset, sunrise too

Liked The scenery, the secluded pitch, the space
Disliked I suggest you improve the signage to the camp site - we drove past. Also, please label the drinking water - we were not sure if the tap was drinking water or not. One of the showers did not have hot water.

Peaceful, Polite and helpful owners
Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked What a lovely place, I needed a camp site for one night as traveling on a long weekend with my dog, arrived just as it became dark and called the number to say I had arrived to very polite and helpful owners, I will definitely be looking to book again when I have more time to appreciate this site and surrounding area. Thank you

Lovely mid-week break in November. Open all year, quiet and peaceful.
Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked We had a lovely stay, with lots of space and no noise from traffic. The owls were busy in the trees, and the pheasants, rabbits and ducks kept us company too.
The shower was hot, the toilets were clean. Didn't meet the owners - easy check-in online before we arrived.

Great, would certainly come again
Fox's Den shepherd's hut (ensuite)
Liked Lovely Shepherds Hut, well fitted out. Ensuite great.
Disliked Just a couple of comments, husband would have liked a mirror for shaving (a stick on one on shower door might be an idea). Lack of dustpan and brush.

Beautiful, friendly, accessible, lovely.
Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Beautiful location with simple yet effective amenities to make our stay super comfortable and easy. Would highly recommend!
Disliked Only a small thing but when we attempted to use the fire pit, the base (and potentially the wood itself) was very damp and so it was extremely hard to get going. I'd recommend protecting the pits from rainfall in future to avoid this issue, but only a minor thing.
