What customers say
This adult-only cider farm offers unique stays with spacious pitches among apple trees for privacy and peace. Guests love the cider bar, friendly hosts, and nice common areas. Facilities are clean, but shower/toilet numbers were tight, though a new block is coming. Access is via narrow country lanes.

Liked Amazing tranquil site. Long pitches so plenty of room for lots of people. Good toilets and showers. Lovely staff, we were shown around by a wonderful south African woman, and great cider tasting room with plenty of options (and that's coming from a lager drinker!) Definitely coming back next year!

Liked Great experience camping in between the apple trees.
Disliked The showers were cold. We understand they are currently being refurbished but it would have been nice to have had a warning about the cold showers.

From the manager: Hi there Sarah
Really pleased you enjoyed your stay with us.
The pitches being very large at 16 feet wide with your own private row between the mature cider orchard stretching back over 300feet for you to all stretch out.
The NEW bathroom block more than doubles our count of bathrooms and showers.
I`m sorry you had a cold shower, the showers are usually hot.
If you had let us know the showers had gone cold we would have moved heaven and earth to sort them immediately for you hot again. We`re always on site and there is a number you can call on the Camping leaflet you received when you booked in also on the camping leaflet is a map of the site which showers and bathrooms are located at either sides of the camping pitches. Where there are other hot showers you could have used should you wished to.
We hope to have you back so we can show you new instalments as we constantly improve and the hot showers, again apologies for the cold shower, it must have really woken you up that morning.

A delightful stay!
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked What's not to love? This place has such a fantastic atmosphere. We stayed here a couple times in 2021, and wow, the place has flourished since then! The greenery growing through the sculptures is a lovely touch, along with the live music and paella night. More toilets and showers have been added which is a great addition.
The pitches are well kept, with a good amount of spacing between. Very clean facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. And a good array of produce to buy in the shop, including the tasty array of ciders.
We will be back as soon as we can!
Disliked Narrow to get to, but that can't be helped and it's what you would expect ey?

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Loved camping in the orchard and being woken by bird song and surrounded by trees. Loved tasting all the different ciders on site too and enjoyed the music on Saturday night.
Disliked The listing did say each pitch was 12 metres wide but I think they meant 12 ft. They are extremely long but there wasn't much room for our roof tent. Although new showers and toilets are being built the current facilities weren't quite up to the purpose of catering for an almost full campsite. We repeatedly had cold/lukewarm showers, there was nowhere to hang clothes/towels in shower cubicles and there wasn't enough paper towels to dry hands at sinks.

From the manager: Hi there Good morning Lucy
I`m really glad you enjoyed your stay with us camping here at the Cider farm between the rows of the mature orchard.
The orchard is a Haven for wild life and birds, the orchard is certified Organic with the Soil Association as well. We have been making ciders here since 2008, since then we have won over 130 awards including 5 this last June at the British Cider Championships, I`m really glad you liked the ciders and the Live music and food by Olivers Kitchen we serve on Saturday evenings from 5.30 onwards.
Pitches are 16 feet wide by over 300 feet long, you are mistaken by the sizes, Perhaps you read metres instead of the feet.
We are 14 pitches and the Newly completed bathroom and showers facilites block brings 9bathrooms and 6 showers for the modest sized campsite.
Its unfortunate that the showers had run cooler for you, the temperature control knobs are different. Do let us know I future when this happens as no one told us, so We couldn't do anything about it, as we had no idea there was an issue, the brand new boiler was having teething issues, all running well now, likewise there are multiple hooks in each shower cubicle.
We would move heaven and earth to give our guests an excellent stay, (we have given sleeping bags when people have forgotten them, fixed tents, given pegs and stakes, pumped up tires, jumped started cars, charged electric cars, made dinner for those who had arrived very late etc.
We look forward to welcoming you back camping here at the Cider farm.
