Set on the Parley Estate near Bournemouth, with a Georgian mansion sitting in four-acres of lovely Dorset parkland, Glamping at Parley by PitchingIt offers pre-erected bell tents on level grass meadows. No fuss, no puzzling tent poles to mess around with. Just arrive on site, move in and your holiday has started. Each five-metre tent has full head height and can sleep up to six guests in flexible layouts. Raised camp beds with airbed toppers and all duvets, pillows and linen are supplied, with storage boxes and lights also coming as part of the deal. Hot showers and proper flushing loos are at the edge of the camping field, as well as a simple kitchenette with washing-up facilities. A small on-site shop takes care of any basics you may run out of, and right next-door there’s a golf course where you can play a round (extra charge) or graze on breakfast goodies and snacks at the clubhouse café. The local pub is a 25-minute walk away.

Charming bell tent (four person)

Liked Location was great and the cafe at the golf club was very convenient and reasonably priced.

Disliked Grass could do with being cropped shorter to save on wet trainers walking through long grass.

Facilities don't match the cost for those staying in glamping bell tents, £100+ a night, but were adequate for camping setup just not a glamping setup.

Stunning bell tent (six person)

Liked Bell tent was nice area was good kids liked seeing aeroplanes taking off. Beds were nice and good to have a small box to put things in. Didn't use club house in evening but looked shut when we got back on site. Would use again for a overnight stop but would make sure I had a power bank with me for charging kids phones as no electric.

Disliked No lights in tent and no toilet roll in toilets overnight would recommend taking own. No car access to pitch.
