What customers say
Highly recommended for stunning country views, peaceful vibe, and super friendly owners. Clean facilities, especially hot showers, are a hit. Some noted sheep and limited recycling, but most found it well-kept, quiet, and beautiful for a relaxing return.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked I stayed 1 night here with my Dad and brother and sister as a Father’s Day present and it was lovely. Such a good site with amazing views. We booked 2 pitches and as we were the only ones we could go wherever. We were offered logs and a fire pit for only £5 which was so good as we didn’t have enough wood. The toilets were clean but the showers were a bit dusty and cobwebs around. Unfortunately the electric was not working that evening but a quick message to the Facebook and Owen was down to fix it immediately so we had lights and warm water for the next morning. We would definitely be back as the peace and quiet with minimal but good amenities was perfect.

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Friendly welcome with a beautiful view in this minimalistic quiet campsite. Immaculate toilets and showers, and plenty of space for the dog to run.
Low light pollution providing a spectacular view of the stars. Well worth hiring a fire pit and logs for a tenner to keep your feet warm.
Disliked Just needs a pub next door, can’t fault this site though, very quiet and well maintained.
No WiFi, but good phone service.
