What customers say
Gidleigh Wood is loved for its serene, beautiful woodland setting by Dartmoor, with easy access to amazing hikes. Hosts Mark and Karen are consistently praised for being super friendly and helpful. Facilities like compost toilets and showers are generally clean and well-kept. It's dog and kid-friendly, with a popular communal fire pit. Some found access roads a bit narrow and pitches sloped, but most managed to find good spots.

Liked Cracking little site in the r middle of nowhere. Quiet, clean facilities and the owner is really friendly.
The only downside is the slope it’s on, but pitch your tent right and it’s not an issue.

Lovely host in a great location,…
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Lovely host in a great location, peaceful with plenty of river dipping for the dogs, as well as lots of space to walk them.
Disliked The composting toilets take some getting used to but every thing was clean and tidy. Also, tricky to get to in a campervan. Very narrow roads and overgrown hedgerows
