Liked: Quiet campsite - lots of room so not too close to others. Groups with children in a separate section which kept the adult only section very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views of the sea! Good facilities, hot showers! Drinking water easily available.

From the manager: Thank you for the review, although you must have just been lucky with campers around you as we do not have a adult only section

Liked: Lots of space - didn't feel cramped next to others. Small park that our children loved. Dog paddock that our dog could go off lead and run around with no worries. Shop at reception has all the smaller bits that you need and a reasonable price. Small games rooms kept us entertained for a good while. Enough showers and toilets and spacious. Different places to do dishes, get rid of rubbish and also use of blocks for bbq's.
All around a very good place to stay
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Good signage at the campsite and a very warm welcome on arrival. The grass was short and other areas on site were kept clean and tidy. The fully enclosed dog exercise area was very much appreciated by our westie Fergus
Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Liked: Nice facilities: showers, fridge, 3 washing up areas, hot water, water points, washing machine, dryer. Owners friendly and helpful. Coastal path nearby and walk into Branscombe to visit the National Trust cafe and watermill etc. Everything local to drive to 5/10 mins away. Used the games room to play pool. Saw a plane take off which was popular and kids enjoyed it. Wifi in the games room and reception area.
Disliked: Few rogue dog owners, but there's always going to be those who think the rules don't apply to them.

Liked: The greeting on arrival was happy and pleasant and gave a chance to check out the small - but well stocked with essentials - shop on site. Pitches are amazingly well laid out with plenty of space between and easy access to drinking water.
The enclosed dog area was a bonus and meant that our pup could be exercised without having to worry about disturbing other users.
Being in a motorhome we were self contained and didn’t need to use the toilets or showers so can’t comment on them beyond looking good from the outside, but the chemical disposal area was fantastic - cleaned regularly, everything you’d need to empty waste on hand, and with plenty of space to move in.
There is an onsite games room but we didn’t use it so can’t say anything other than it exists. But if it’s like the rest of the site, it’ll be in good condition.
The site also has a private airstrip that staff advised us can get noisy for brief periods when planes arrive/depart, but we didn’t experience it so can’t say just how noisy it gets.
This place is a hidden gem that’s well worth a stay.
Disliked: The only downside to the site isn’t one they can do anything about: the road to the site gets narrow in places with little chance of passing other vehicles, slow and steady is advised when driving the last half mile.
