What customers say
This well-maintained campsite has amazing ocean views, roomy sites and a chill vibe. Guests loved the clean facilities, welcoming staff and great food/drinks. It's super for families with lots of play areas. Though the location is great for exploring, some mentioned road noise and the tough walk to Broadsands Beach. Highly recommended!

We liked the campsite, having a very good pub within walking distance.
Valley primitive grass campsite
Liked The size of the pitch in the valley was very generous in size and very nicely separated by hedges.
Having a very good pub within walking distance was a nice treat.
The facilities seemed very spread out, you will expect a walk from any pitch.
Disliked The toilet block in the entrance opposite reception seemed well used and could do with being kept tidier/cleaner. As it is the first impression guest get.
Also glad we didn’t stay in the top field for camping as the facilities didn’t look good.

Valley primitive grass campsite
Liked A very friendly family campsite, clean facilities, bar and social area was nice. Food available onsite with themed evenings. Prices for food and drinks very reasonable. There was a pub (Sawmills) not far from the campsite.
The campsite was set out in pitch’s of a reasonable size. I had opted for a valley pitch with out electricity which was suitable for me. Other camper vans did have pitches with electric supply.
Coastal path on the door step which I did make the most of. You are not far from the Watermouth Castle which I did visit on my own. However I did enjoy my time there. If you have young children they would enjoy it so a great time for the family. All in all my experience was good, I wanted a nice relaxing time and that is what I got. So thank you.

Will definitely return - brilliant site
Valley powered grass campsite
Liked Great sea/woodland views around campsite, relaxed atmosphere, cute bar, delicious takeaway available most nights, outdoor seating with tv, well maintained clean facilities, plenty of warm showers with self contained cubicles, local towns walkable (quite hilly/overgrown this time of year) spacious secluded pitches, well stocked shop, helpful staff, bus stop outside, lovely nearby harbour with cafe serving the best Devon cream tea. Outdoor games room and badminton free to use. Large dog field with vast sea views and beautiful sunsets. Woolacombe definitely worth a visit.
