What customers say
This well-maintained campsite offers stunning ocean views and direct coastal path access. Campers loved the friendly staff, spotless facilities, and varied food. Spacious sites, a dog-friendly vibe, and a dedicated dog field were highlights. Road noise and occasional facility lineups were mentioned, but most guests loved it and plan to return.

Amazing campsite, welcoming and lots to see in the surrounding areas.
Valley powered grass campsite
Liked We loved the area, the surrounding areas, there were some lovely places to visit, we visited, lynton, Lynmouth bay, the valley of the rocks, Woolacombe beach, watersmeet trail - all of which were within a 30 minute drive from the campsite.
The campsite is very dog friendly, all dogs are kept on leads which was appreciated. All staff were also very polite and welcoming. There is a secure dog field where you can let your dog off lead if you feel comfortable (which also gives you the BEST sunset view) I will attach them to this review.
The food was amazing, the pizza and curry night were our favourite ones of the trip.
The showers facilities were fab, always been cleaned out and kept fresh. You do have to pay 20p to use the electric socket or hair dryer which we didn’t know until we got there.

Valley powered grass campsite
Liked Amazing facilities! Onsite shop, bar and themed takeaway food, which changes daily.
Friendly welcome, with an introduction to the site and directions to our pitch.
Pitch was spacious, clearly marked, with great views of the valleys greenery.
The dog exercise yard is large, fully enclosed, with a great view of the campsite overlooking the sea. It is a steep hill to reach, but a greeting from the goats and sheep, made the trek entertaining.
Facilities were cleaned regularly, never had to wait to use the toilet/shower. Water supply taps throughout the site.
