What customers say
Popular, well-kept site with great sea views & coastal path access. Praised for spacious pitches, clean facilities, friendly staff, and food/bar. Great for exploring. Some noted sloping pitches, road/venue noise. Steep steps to beach; Broadsands Beach was closed due to landslide.

Great campsite, well run and friendly.
Valley primitive grass campsite
Liked Location was great, had a view of the sea. Very good facilities. Food kiosk and bar were a bonus. Excellent pizzas. Cost average for good campsites these days. Would definitely return but only out of school holidays.

Allocated powered grass campsite (sea view)
Liked The campsite was very picturesque and the sea view was incredible.
All the staff were friendly and lovely.
The amenities were easy to get to and clean.
Disliked We stayed in C1 and the boundaries were unclear. The other pitches had long grass, marking their boundaries, but our pitch didn’t. Some people got quite close to us when exploring and walking down to the picnic area.

Valley primitive grass campsite
Liked Large and very varied pitches. Brilliant for dog owners with a huge exercise field. All the facilities are excellent. We liked the seating area near the bar and food kiosk with a very large screen to watch the World Cup coverage. There's a good bus service to Combe Martin. We will return.

Valley powered grass campsite
Liked Great facilities with added bonus of onsite bar and food.
Facilities very clean
Despite being busy most people were respectful with noise levels.
Having a dog exercise area is brilliant
Disliked A tiny thing would be the dog exercise area has a couple of sections not fenced into fern/brambles- and if like us you have a terrier who would chase rabbits if off lead this is something to be mindful of! Not a dislike as such but just a warning to doggo owners - we were happy to keep our dog on lead to save the bunnies!!!

Beautiful camp
Open plan primitive grass campervan or tent campsite (sloping)
Liked Loved the view, easy check in - we arrived late after being stuck in traffic on the M5 and the camp left us check in info and staff working on food hut. The camp has a pub which showed the footie, and different food on offer each night. Loads of individual shower/bathroom rooms, which is like having a private bathroom rather than hostel shared bathroom, which adds to cosiness. You park by your pitch so easy to access bits. Great access to coastal path, and field next to camp with even better views. Recommend the storm in tea cup cafe, walking and swimming at mermaids cove, walking to ilfracombe. Driving to surf beaches - croyde etc.
Disliked The slope on the hill was slight, but would have been more chill if we had a flat pitch. Worth it for the view. We knew that the pitch was sloped in advance, so something more for our reflection on choice than a criticism of that camp me
