What customers say
Spectacular ocean views & coastal path access. Guests rave about clean facilities, friendly staff, and good value food/drinks. Spacious pitches, some on a slant. Enjoy the bar, games room & play areas. Mostly peaceful, but some road/venue noise. Beach access can be tricky due to landslides.

Valley powered grass campsite
Liked The most incredible sunsets and stargazing and views. Friendliest staff and really good shower facilities and toilets.
Couldn’t fault it. Will definitely be returning. Even the food was divine - definitely try the baked goods and curry night with the DJ was a night I won’t forget. Thanks again to everyone who made our stay so special!

Liked Watermouth is incredible and it’s our second stay this summer. There is no place like it. The breathtaking Views, friendly owners, pizza night with delicious mojitos, dog paddock with friendly dogs playing, gorgeous local beaches and more. We watched porpoises swimming past, whilst cooking breakfast at our tent this morning. We explored coves and bays yesterday in crystal clear water. We watched the eclipse on Wednesday with a view of the harbour and the beautiful campsite in the dusky light. And then were lucky to see some of the meteor showers. Walking through the campsite in the dark, to the sound of muted chatter, children’s laughter, and the sight of fairy lights, and smells of dinner cooking - there is something so special about this place. It attracts chilled and happy people that are just so friendly and considerate. We will keep coming back year after year. There is no place like it! We love Watermouth!
Disliked Leaving! We would stay forever if we could

Can’t fault anything!
Loved having a hot chocolate from the shop in the morning, as it was cold waiting fur the sun to pop over the brow of the hill.

Liked Really great site and a lovely stay. This is the second time we’ve stayed and we’d stay again. Great location, beautiful views and the staff are friendly and helpful. The bar and food service is excellent as are all the facilities.

Beautiful campsite, so glad we found it!
Open plan primitive grass campervan or tent campsite (sloping)
Liked Beautiful campsite with best of both worlds, pick your pitch type. We were in the slightly sloping cheaper option and loved it. Views to the sea and surrounding countryside were lovely. Pizza and live (not loud) music was perfect for when we didn't want to cook. A short stroll to Watermouth Castle and Harbour (mostly off road). Would definitely go back there!
Disliked The top field toilets have steep steps, access to basin is tricky and could do with a clean more often but mostly facilities were very clean, well thought out and plentiful.

Site with modern facilities and great views. Perfect for SWCP hikers.
Hiker primitive grass tent campsite (no cars)
Liked Great campsite with several good, modern facilities. A perfect overnight location for South West Coast Path hikers, as the path runs right through the campsite. Great view from the open pitch field. A pub is just next door to one end of the campsite.
