  • Quiet family-friendly Devon campsite 10 minutes’ drive from Woolacombe
  • Exmoor National Park 15 minutes’ drive and the Tarka Trail 20 minutes
  • Dog-walking area; easy access to footpaths, a pub and public transport
Surfers, walkers and cyclists listen up… staying at Little Shelfin Farm Camping puts you in pole position for the breaks off Woolacombe Beach (10 minutes’ drive), long-distance hiking on the Tarka Trail (20 minutes) and a mere 15 minutes by car from the cycling routes in Exmoor National Park. There’s plenty more that’s good about this small and quiet family-run campsite. Set on an 80-acre working farm, the spacious pitches have plenty of room between them, with room for awnings and cars, and are on a large field with wide-open spaces so kids can have a run around. Dogs are welcomed here as well, and there’s a small run dedicated to canine exercise (please pick up after them though). You have direct access to several public footpaths from the camping field (the dogs will be pleased to get extra walkies), and there’s a bus to Woolacombe within 10 minutes’ stroll. A pub serving pizzas, steaks and fries all day is about the same distance away at Mullacott.

Liked Absolutely lovely campsite. The owners are lovely.
We got there earlier than we were allowed however they came over mowed the grass and let us pitch the tent with no problems.
The campsite is only a 5 minute drive into Ilfracombe and a 10 minute drive into Woolacombe! It’s a great location.
Tent Pitches are a decent size, and you aren’t too close to anyone else.
The toilets could do with a little revamping but showers were hot so all good.
We will definitely be going back.

Liked Stayed here for a weekend with 3 adults and 3 kids, the pitches were perfect sized for our tent, cars and still left loads of space for play for the kids.

Liked Lovely family run farm. Really lovely time. Very kind owners. We were put near the toilets which was really helpful as we have children. Also asked to pitch near family and we were.

Disliked No hand dryer or paper towel to dry hands. No respect from other guests in the respect of looking after toilets.
