What customers say
A serene campground with ample, private sites boasting gorgeous ocean vistas. Clean, well-kept amenities and genuinely helpful staff create a warm vibe. Enjoy the on-site shop, fresh bread, and easy access to coastal trails and sights. Spotty Wi-Fi near reception, and a few shower temp/heating hiccups noted, with management addressing concerns.

Overall enjoyed our stay and would return.
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked We were booked in by a lovely lady and shown all the facilities and then to our pitch. Views were amazing out to sea , and it was a lovely walk down to Watermouth harbour and then onto Combe Martin. As explained by the owner the entrance was a bit tricky but we did as they said and turned around in the lay by a bit further on and all was good .
Disliked We went to bed early on first night as we were very tired but unfortunately were woken up by a group of children being very noisy and unsupervised which was a bit disappointing as it was after 9pm. Campsite cant help the unruly neighbours but it did spoil our peace as it was same following morning. We would stay again but would ask for a quiet pitch .

From the manager: I'm so glad you loved the site with the views and the walking from the site but sorry to hear that you had neighbours who were not following the site rules. Sadly unless we know about this we are not able to do anything. If you come again and experience any disharmony in the form of children, noise or anything that is impairing your stay please please come and find us and we rectify the situation immediately no matter what time of day or night. We are on site 24/7 either in the shop or up at the cottage and we resolve issues immediately.
In general we have lovely couples and families who all come and camp in harmony together enjoying the peaceful surroundings and I do hope that you will return to enjoy the peace!

Fantastic place for tent camping
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Fantastic site for tent camping, quiet and private.
All facilities are clean and well maintained. You can order you freshly baked bread rolls and croissants in the evening for next morning. Reception/Shop got a lot of stuff you might miss taking with you. The lady at the reception is very friendly and helpful.
WiFi works if you’re close enough to the reception but no issues for me as I was happy not to be bothered by my phone.
Plenty options for walks around the area.
I would definitely recommend this site and will surely return soon.

Great location, pitches and facilities.

Liked We loved the location and view from every pitch, even the washing up spot had a great view! The pitch sizes were generous, it was so peaceful and the facilities were perfect. There was also options for walks from the site so you are not tied to your car. We will definitely look to book again.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked I had a wonderful couple of nights at the site and Linda could not have done more to make me feel welcoming and catered for. The weather was rather dismal so I was offered a pitch which was not soggy but nice and sheltered .
The showers, toilets and washing up facilities were perfect and always kept clean.
I brought some eggs from the well stocked shop and made a real pig of myself as had to have two each day for breakfast when my normal is one 😂
The location was just perfect and I will definitely be back again to walk those stunning coastal paths .
Disliked Nothing , no moans at all

Although I didn’t end up staying…
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Although I didn’t end up staying at Little Meadow Caravan and Camping Site due to a booking mistake on my part, I wanted to leave a review to recognise the excellent customer service I received.
I accidentally booked the wrong campsite and contacted Pitchup for assistance. Little Meadow Caravan and Camping Site kindly agreed to provide a full refund, despite the cancellation being due to my own error and outside of what I expected under the cancellation policy.
I was genuinely impressed by their understanding, fairness and willingness to help. It’s refreshing to deal with a business that shows such consideration and flexibility towards its customers.
Based on my experience with their customer service alone, I would not hesitate to recommend them and would certainly consider booking with them in the future if I am visiting the area.
Thank you again for your kindness and excellent customer care.

Liked Fantastic views and proximity to watermouth bay and the SW coastal path. Nice spacious terraced pitches.
Disliked The showers took a wide to warm up otherwise more than adequate for what we needed.

From the manager: Glad you enjoyed your stay. If you come again when you use the showers if they haven't been in use before you shower just press the button a few times to get the hot water along the pipes before going under :-)
