What customers say
This tidy site offers roomy spots & a chill vibe. Guests rave about the super clean, well-equipped washrooms, esp. the hot, strong showers. The honesty shop's a great perk. Staff, like owner Rocky, are often called friendly, helpful, and attentive. Mostly quiet, but some noise was noted. Handy for driving to local beaches.

Kids liked the play area.
Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Best showers I've ever seen on any campsite (hot and permanently on).
Honesty shop - didn't use but had the basics
Pitches essentially flat and could pretty much go wherever as Rocky didn't bat an eyelid
Basic toilets but I don't mind being watched by a spider!
Disliked Very expensive laundrette with no soap powder to buy from shop.
Slip and slide was great but when the kids wanted to go back on it an hr later, was told it was for private hire only. We'd been told it was £5 all day (only open 12- 1600) so Rocky was gracious enough to give our money back as the kids had only been on it half an hr.
My friend struggled to find the site using the postcode and got very lost. Put the site name into Google and go by that as it will lead you straight there.

Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Good price, shower was great not having to press a button and just leave it running. Having a honesty shop. Having camping fires available if you want to use one.
Disliked Toilet roll ran out, hand soap ran out, facilities were outside and ok but some doors or wooden panels had holes and gaps so could be seen by peeping toms if there were about...

Liked Super friendly owner who is out to make everyone's holiday as enjoyable as possible. Even went round to each holiday maker to invite them for sunset walk. The honesty shop just shows how honest and open this owner is. What a great atmosphere on site.

Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Good location to travel to multiple places in Devon, nice facilities and a great on site honesty shop. The owner Rocky is very friendly and took us all on a sunset walk which was a nice touch.
Disliked This site allows group bookings which meant that a group with 6 tents turned up quite late in the evening and made noise until gone 2am. Whilst they were spoken to and adhered to the 11pm cut off the next night, they made excessive noise up until that point, singing, playing drums and loudly and sarcastically mentioning how long it was until curfew. This led to us and 2 other bookings leaving a day early as it was not the ‘peaceful’ environment as described. A real shame because if large group bookings weren’t allowed, it would be a really nice site.

Definitely recommend and we will definitely be back!
Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely campsite, plenty of large space toilets and showers which were kept clean, loads of sinks etc. Well stocked honesty shop and fun slip n slide for the kids.
For us campers, the ground was soft, level where we were and easy.
Location excellent for lots of pretty towns and beaches
Disliked Someone allowed their dog to poo right outside our tent. Not the campsites fault but still annoying.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lots of space, no specific pitches, generally quiet and respectful guests. Great that could can have fires. Free washing up liquid was a nice touch. Felt safe, with a small play area for children.
Disliked Although it was generally clean, the sinks were slow to drain which meant you were often greeted with the remnants of the previous users discarded toothpaste.
Some of play area needed some TLC.
