Bell tent (basic, no electricity)
Liked A really lovely campsite!
Kids loved the bell tent, the woods and the goats!
Great toilet and shower facilities.. ‘proper’ toilets! And fab little private shower with toilet cubicles.
Not far from the beach (driving) one track roads, so can be a bit tricky sometimes with larger vehicles. Lovely walks. May steps taken!!!!
The shanty cafe is lovely.

Would definitely go back
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Open spaces, animals, facilities, kids play areas - all great
Disliked There was a party in the field next to us playing very loud music until gone 10. Might not seem late, but it is when you’re camping with a 5yo!

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Location ideal for visiting lots in area.
Space was good for children on bikes.
Showers and toilets were clean.
Disliked Play barn was disappointing as a lot of toys were broken and whole area needed some attention.
Litter about site.
Overall site felt neglected and shabby in places eg play area and cafe/shop.
Animal area was an attraction when booking but was again not as described, felt depressing to walk around.
We did not see any person working in any area on site while there.

Bell tent (basic, no electricity)
Liked We loved our stay!
We stayed in a basic glamping tent, it was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The pitch was spacious for the children to run around and very few cars actually passed our tent during our stay so it felt safe. The campsite itself is great, the children liked the little playground, trampoline, tree swing and we did a couple of the campsite walks. The views from the campsite are lovely. The location is great to visit lots of different beaches, we went to Seaton, Lyme Regis, Beer and Sidmouth during our stay.

Spacious level pitches
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Check-in at this site is easy, pitch number is allocated and sent by email, so just arrive & pitch. We wanted to stay an extra night - it was quick and easy to add this. The grass tent pitches are flat and spacious - we will be back.
Disliked Not really a dislike - the site does get busy at weekends especially in holidays
