What customers say
A friendly, well-kept campsite with clean facilities, a short walk to Brixham harbour and coastal paths. On-site bar & snack shack are popular. Most enjoy the location & staff, though some noted limited WiFi & steep walks back from town. A few mentioned pitch size & occasional facility cleanliness.

Liked Great campsite. Friendly helpful people in reception. Level grass pitches and a good size. We have a VW camper and a blow up side awning. The toilet/shower areas were always clean and are well maintained. Two separate dish washing areas. The onsite bar was great and reasonably priced. We didn’t use the snack shack as we only stayed a few days but it looked good with outside seating, very good pricing. Location was great, turn left 10min to costal walk or turn right 20min to Brixham. Wished we stayed for longer, hopefully next time. Highly recommended.
Disliked Nothing really.

A very good experience overall.

Liked Location excellent. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Nicely laid open-field site. Good facilities especially, for a dog-owner, well organised dog exercising layout
Disliked A minor item: Shame that the WiFi does not stretch to the further extent of the site, where we happened to be.

From the manager: Thank you for your kind review and we look forward to welcoming you back to the site. Unfortunately the 5mph speed bumps (severity & frequency) were set by Torbay Council as there are children on site, so it is not something we can rectify !

Move the picnic table. Other than that everything perfect.

Liked The site was lovely and after turning up a weekend early, everyone went out of their way to accommodate us. Thank you, you actually saved my hanging after driving for six hours. Shower blocks clean and water lovely and hot. We would stay again.
Disliked Our pitch was next to the bar which was fine music did not go on too late. however we had a picnic table in our pitch that attracted drinkers, but the children were running around our gazebo tripping over the ropes causing the dog to go potty. We had to go in the van and close up to get away from them. The mess was just left on the picnic table so our pitch looked a mess

We would like to stop again but not in the ‘loop’ (W sites).

Liked Very clean and tidy. Very good facilities
Disliked My tent pitch (W64) was squeezed between a person who had his pitch the incorrect way and had encroached on our patch, with another arriving after us, yet insisted on claiming as much of his pitch (and some of ours)as possible. To compound the issue, I was unable to utilise a guy rope for my front as the gravel road was too close. This resulted in a tent that was not as robust as it could have been during quite nasty weather. The gravel road was noisy, compounded by speeding and inconsiderate drivers at silly times of the night. Maybe a lockout policy for cars arriving after 22:00 hrs would stop such poor car behaviour at unsocial hours?

Probably would not stay there again.

Liked I thought the campsite was in a great location and we loved the local harbour which was a short walk away.
Disliked Pitch was very uneven so tilted our campervan even with blocks. Toilets and showers could have done with a deeper clean and toilet roll replenished more often. Onsite entertainment (male singer) was not to our taste and went on a long time and was extremely loud so you couldn’t avoid it. Lots of rules for the site like no ball games, no kettles, no use of toasters which I’ve not experienced at any other campsite.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. We are always striving to improve the site, and we take on board your comments regarding the pitch, although you failed to mention it is a very large and private pitch. I'm sorry that the singer was not to your taste, but as a disabled person in a wheelchair who adjusts his songs to best of his abilities, he is very popular. He played for 2hrs between 7pm & 9pm, which is our standard entertainment slot. Kettles & toasters can be used, as long as they are low wattage specifically for camping. Our hook up is 16 amp, which again is standard across most sites. Household kettles & toasters can cause the electrics to trip, inconveniencing other campers. The "No Ball Games" rule is there to protect other campers/tourers tents, motorhomes and caravans. Children can become over zealous when kicking footballs and rugby balls etc, and I'm sure you wouldn't be too impressed if your very expensive motorhome was struck with a stray ball. This has happened in the past and caused a huge argument between campers, hence why the rule was brought in.

Liked Great location and clean facilities - good value as showers were free and plentiful. Easy to access town or wild walks along cliff tops. Felt
Like a holiday campsite for families rather than wild and remote
Disliked Surrounded on all sides by other pitches
