What customers say
Well-kept, friendly campsite near Braunton, shops, and beaches. Owner Alan is praised for being helpful and welcoming. Facilities are clean and generally sufficient, with some recent shower upgrades. Spacious, flat pitches. Cricket club is a popular spot. Minor points on sink location/toilet numbers at peak times, but highly recommended for a peaceful, convenient stay.

Excellent friendly site in a great location.
Powered grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Location, easy walk/cycle to centre of Braunton with pubs, restaurants, shops, etc plus buses to nearby towns. We had a very warm welcome and the site was very friendly. Lovely atmosphere, very relaxing. Large flat pitches. Pop up drinks vans some days/nights.

Great host and great location. Very quiet campsite.
Powered grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Great host, made us very welcome from the start, very helpful and informative. Great location, just a few minutes walk to town to the shops, bars and coffee shops. Also handy for catching the bus to explore Croyde bay and Barnstaple. Enjoyed watching the cricket games next to the campsite.
Disliked The site would benefit from having washing up sinks in a better location than inside the toilet cubicles, there is space for outside washing up sinks which would have been better.

Liked Nice big pitches, with clear markings.
Very friendly owners, couldn’t help you enough.
Very close to coffee shops, shops, pubs etc.
Lovely quiet site.
Great little stop-off for a couple of nights on our way to Cornwall.
Disliked Not a dislike but a bit confusing, how there was a urinal next to the kettle/washing-up area and the second washing-up sink was in the same cubicle as the toilet.
Only 2 toilets (there was also 2 portaloos) but meant at busy times you could be waiting to use the facilities.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked I'm almost tempted not to review this gem of a campsite to keep it a secret! Nicely placed on the edge of Braunton next to the village cricket club, it's a small family-run community-orientated pop-up that's big on heart. The personal touches just really make it - the owners checking in on you, the visiting cocktail bar and Devon scone stall, the kettle and washing up stuff in the kitchen area - it really feels like a special place to stay. The amenities are great, and the site is quiet at night. Perfect for families.

James (owner) on site was just great. He was super helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area.

Amazing little campsite.
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked This is a perfect little campsite. The owners are really friendly & helpful, even offering us their mallet as we forgot ours.
The toilets & showers were always clean as was the site.
It’s a great location as it’s only a short walk away from a selection of pubs & restaurants. There are also some lovely walks on its doorstep too.
We will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

Liked Such a lovely little campsite - super friendly family who run it, a fantastic location (close to the beach, village and coffee shops!), really relaxed, quiet and felt super safe on my own with a child too. Toilets were clean, showers were nicely hot and the pitches were a great size. Thank you, we can't wait to come back :) The bonus was the scone stall who showed up on Saturday night - that was great :) we also enjoyed fresh coffee and banana bread at the Heartbreak Hotel coffee a short walk away from the site, opening at 7.30am so great for morning coffee
