Do you want to make your kids happy with a seaside holiday? Better than that: do you want to make the kids positively ecstatic with a Cornish seaside holiday with horses in the nearby field? Good news: that Parent of the Year award is within your grasp when you book a spot at Treliever Farm Certificated Location, a site for Caravan and Motorhome Club members only, set just a 15-minute drive from Falmouth. You can also bring your dog to this small, rural site off the A39, but please do keep it on a lead in order not to spook the resident horses, which can often be admired as they graze and idle in the adjacent field. There are lots of pleasant walks in the vicinity, including at Kennall Vale Nature Reserve and Devichoys Wood Nature Reserve (both five minutes’ drive), though – again – your four-legged companion should be on a lead here. Then, of course, there’s the South West Coast Path, which you can access from Swanpool Beach or Maenporth Beach (10 minutes to both). The latter sits within a deep cove, meaning that its waters are usually pretty calm and good/safe for young or inexperienced paddleboarders and kayakers. Level grass pitches come with water and waste-emptying facilities; however, please note that there is no electric hook-up. Penryn’s shops, restaurants and pubs are no more than two miles away (a 15- to 30-minute walk).

This no-frills site is a steal, offering a quiet escape with lovely horse and country views. A great launchpad for exploring Falmouth and Cornwall. Basic amenities suit RVers perfectly. The narrow access lane is manageable. A few suggestions for water/waste point upgrades.

Primitive grass travel trailer campsite (members only)

Liked Peaceful quite no hassle nothing fancy basic. £10 a night. No problem with the gate. Narrow road single track might look a bit intimidating for height but high farm trailers go up the lane with absolutely no problem. Site could do with a small update around waste disposal and getting fresh water but was no problem to me.dog walking was grand. Falmouth 4 miles away.great spot as a base for day trips out Truro Penzance lands end Newquay Redruth St Austell Plymouth Helston St Ives Falmouth and quite a few more places.

Disliked Parking charges in Cornwall. 4 hours £7.50 rip off that was really my only moan about cornwall but that's nothing to do with the camp site

Liked Great location for Falmouth and mylor Bridge. Great scenery and walks for the dog .no facilities but we were in a motorhome so not worried. Farmer really nice man .

Disliked Lane down to the site could do with cutting back for taller motorhomes,but is accessible

Liked Schöne Wiese mit freier Platzwahl. Die Buchung über Pitchup war sehr einfach. Es gibt Frischwasser und die Möglichkeit der Chemie Toiletten Entleerung. Mülleimer stehen auch bereit. Top Preis.
Man wacht mit einem schönen Blick auf die Pferde auf 🥰

Disliked Schmale Zufahrt und Straßengeräusche, Diese aber wenig und nachts gar nicht.
