  • Peaceful touring site in Three Burrows, with easy access from A30
  • A five-minute drive to St Agnes; 10 minutes to Perranporth beach
  • Gym and launderette on site; pubs and shops within 15 minutes' walk
Cramming in lots of Cornwall’s top days out should be easy as pie while staying at St Agnes Holiday Park, a rural spot in the little village of Three Burrows, about five miles from Truro. This central location, coupled with easy access to the A30, makes this a most handy spot for getting out to beaches, heritage trails and top attractions (both the Eden Project and Land’s End are about 40 minutes’ drive away, despite being at opposite ends of the county). Or, if you prefer, you could elect to keep things very local – it’s a three-mile jaunt to the coastal village of St Agnes with its rockpools and family-friendly shallows, or five miles to the gorgeous Perranporth beach for surfing, sand dunes and general splashing. And of course, the two are linked with each other and many points beyond by walks on the South West Coast Path. Whether you’ve chosen to roam far and wide or focus on the immediate surrounds, there’s a friendly base waiting for you back at St Agnes Holiday Park, where the friendly team keep a watchful eye over things to make sure all is going smoothly. Families, couples and dogs are all welcome on site, and there’s a good stack of facilities including showers, toilets, a washing-up area and a launderette with drying room. (And there’s also a gym, if the mood takes you…). Other bonus features include a play area, sauna, dog exercise area and dog shower. Another little bonus on the ‘handy location’ front? There are two pubs, a bakery and a well-stocked village shop within roughly 10 minutes' walk.

A tidy, well-kept park with helpful staff. Showers/toilets are spotless. Pitches are roomy, but can be tight when busy. Great pizza & brekkie. Good Cornwall base.

Liked This place is a gem and there is absolutely nothing negative I could say about it. You have everything you need spotlessly clean pitches and the facilities are the best we’ve ever experienced at a camp site. They have thought of everything. Dog shower dog field (all be a tad small) gym sauna. Great waste space and beautiful laundry room. I’ve never seen so many staff cleaning all the time and the whole place smells clean and not just look it. I don’t get to use the shop. Very quiet place and so relaxing listening to the birds. Staff are so friendly and always like to chat or just say hi. They are all a credit to the owners. WiFi was brilliant. This place has the best facilities for disabled people and all the paths are flat.

Disliked A longer stay! Next time!

From the manager: Thank you, Nicola, for such a wonderful review. We are absolutely delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that our facilities, cleanliness, and friendly team made such a positive impression.

It's fantastic to know that you appreciated everything from the dog-friendly facilities and gym to the laundry room, Wi-Fi, and accessible layout of the park. Your comments about our team mean a great deal to us, and we will be sure to share your kind words with everyone.

We're especially pleased that your only disappointment was not being able to stay longer! Thank you for recommending us to others, and we look forward to welcoming you back for a longer stay next time.

Liked Nice clean site with good showers, albeit only 2 showers on site but didnt prove to be a problem.

Disliked A bit too far off the beaten track for our liking, being 4 miles away from St Agnes. Expected to be able to do some nice walks from the site but there were none around and to walk into St Agnes would mean walking along country lanes with fast moving traffic and no pavements. Had to drive from the site to get anywhere.

From the manager: Thank you, Teresa, for taking the time to leave a review. We're pleased to hear that you found the site clean and enjoyed the shower facilities during your stay.

We're sorry that our location wasn't quite what you were looking for. As a rural countryside park, many of our guests choose us for the peace and tranquillity, although we appreciate that this can mean relying on a vehicle to explore the local area and nearby attractions. We understand that this may not suit everyone and appreciate your honest feedback.

Thank you again for staying with us, and we wish you all the best with your future travels.

Liked Brilliant little holiday park

We stayed at St Agnes Holiday Park on a fully serviced touring pitch and honestly, we had a cracking time.

The park itself is lovely. Really well kept, clean and tidy, and everything just feels like it’s looked after properly. The staff were all really welcoming and always happy to help when needed. And then there’s Charlie the dog… who, quite frankly, deserves his own 5-star review. 🐶😂

The toilets and showers were brilliant. Modern, clean and really well maintained — which, when you’re camping, is pretty high up the list of things that matter!

The WiFi was a bit hit and miss while we were there, but to be honest, we couldn’t really give a toss. We were in Cornwall. There were beaches to explore, places to see and far too many pasties to eat, so sitting around worrying about WiFi wasn’t exactly top of the agenda!

There’s also a gym, sauna and steam room on site for £15, which is a nice option if you fancy pretending you’re being healthy while on holiday. 😂

If you’ve got a dog, there’s a little grassy area for them to do their business too, which is handy.

The food on site was good as well, and they’ll actually deliver it straight to your pitch. While we were there they did a Tex-Mex night and it was bloody brilliant. Hopefully they bring that back because I’d happily have that again!

The location is also spot on. Most of the beaches we wanted to visit were around 20–30 minutes away, so it made a great base for getting out and exploring Cornwall without spending half your holiday stuck in the van. There’s also a really good bakery called Prima about 15 minutes away — definitely worth a visit!

All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. It’s not somewhere we’d just sit on site all week because there’s far too much to see around Cornwall, but as a base camp for exploring, it’s absolutely spot on.

Great site, great facilities, friendly staff and a bloody good Tex-Mex.

What more do you want? 😂

We’d definitely come back.

From the manager: Thank you for such a fantastic and detailed review. We are delighted to hear that you had a cracking time with us and enjoyed everything from the touring facilities and cleanliness to the welcoming atmosphere created by our team.

We're especially pleased that you appreciated the toilet and shower facilities, our food offering, and the park's location as a base for exploring Cornwall. Charlie will also be thrilled to hear he earned his own 5-star review!

Thank you for highlighting so many of the features we work hard to provide, including our dog-friendly facilities, gym and wellness suite, and pitch-side food delivery service. Feedback like yours means a great deal to the whole team.

We truly appreciate your recommendation and look forward to welcoming you back to St Agnes Holiday Park for another visit (and perhaps another Tex-Mex night!) in the future.

Local attractions

The coast might be the first thing that springs to mind when someone mentions a holiday in Cornwall, and you wouldn’t be barking up entirely the wrong tree… there are all sorts of stuff to do that are centred around the sand and sea, from rummaging through rockpools or cave-hunting at Chapel Porth beach (10 minutes’ drive) to getting the whole family onto some surfboards to catch some waves at Trevaunance Cove (10 minutes). Surfing’s all the rage at the sandy Gwithian beach (20 minutes) too, but it’s in St Ives (25 minutes) that boat trips take the front seat, along with galleries, walks along the clifftops and some surf schools, a similar sort of offering to Newquay (20 minutes), which has a zoo, aquarium and surf schools, among other activities. You’ll want to time your visit right to St Michael’s Mount (25 minutes), as this historic castle sits out to sea on a tidal island. If this old fortress isn’t nostalgic enough, Lappa Valley (20 minutes) has steam train rides or Healey’s Cornish Cyder Farm (five minutes) will help you to uncover the inner workings of a traditional Cornish cider brewery.
