What customers say
This spot's loved for its scenic, quiet coast, offering a "wild camping" vibe with basic, clean facilities like a neat composting toilet. Close to the coast path, Mount Edgcumbe, and a pub. Guests enjoyed the unique charm, art, and pitch choice. Despite basic amenities and some sloped ground, it's a hit, with many planning to return.

Top camp spot
Primitive forest floor tent campsite
Liked Fantasic little camp spot on the coast and 5 mins from Edgecombe Country Park and a top boozer called Edgecombe Arms. Overlooking Plymouth harbour. Great spot for fishing and not far from a lovely little fishing village Cawsand, coastal path and great sea bass fishing spots. Quirky old ww2 buildings and friendly staff with top food stop off recommendations. Compost toilet but you can build a nice camp fire

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Exactly what we like in a site. No real frills but well maintained and right on the coast path. Enjoyed a stroll into Cawsand via Mount Edgecumbe with the dogs. The owner, Dean, was an absolute gent. We’ll be back again for another staycation.

Nice basic, quiet site 😊
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Nice secluded spot, very quiet. Perfect place for an overnight stay if you enjoy wild camping. There is a toilet and a couple of bins and a water point, all you need really. Enjoyed hearing the owls in the trees above during the evening 😊 Would definitely stay again 😊

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Love this place and will be returning in the future for sure. Great site clean toilet. Amazing history being the old fuel depot.
Easy walk to the pub and a stunning walk around the estuary.

Cute, basic site for a 'wild camping' feel, but with a toilet!
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Catching the ferry across the Mount Edgecumbe, then walking to the site.
The calm, peaceful feel of the site when we set up.
The cleanliness of toilet.
The fact that host had set up wood for campfire in the pit, ready for us when we arrived.
The coastal path which led to little harbour to look at Plymouth in the dark.
My son enjoyed exploring the outbuilding with graffiti art at night wit a torch.

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Quirky, peaceful, beautiful location and lots to see within walking distance
Disliked Only one toilet at present but understand there are plans to add to this

Quirky site, very relaxed, close to a pub, beautiful walking area.
Primitive forest floor tent campsite
Liked Great site, small and quiet. Good location next to the estuary and Mount Edgcumbe.

Good for anyone who likes it rough sloping & fires pits next to tent
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Location within 10 mins of a pub
Disliked Sloping ground for most of the site no defined pitches wake up to van or tent within 3 feet of you. Part of the advertised woodland pitches are actually within 4 yards and there is a single saw dust plastic 50 gallon drum of a loo.
Overall a very disappointing site not really suitable for tents of vehicles for the majority of the small acre and half of grass. Paid for two nights stayed 1. £24 for a night not worth half that
