What customers say
Great campsite with stunning sea views, spacious pitches, and friendly staff. Easy access to the coastal path. Enjoy watching planes and skydivers. Basic facilities are clean, though water pressure can be an issue. Excellent value.

Ups and downs, we made the most of it, may have just been bad timing.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely view (based on where you park on the field). Toilets and showers available 24/7. Lots of space (we went in October though).
Disliked A bar/cafe was advertised as part of the campsite, we had looked up the food offered beforehand and were looking forward to getting takeaway to eat in the van. We arrived at 6pm, despite that the bar/cafe/office was closed (meant to be open but staff elsewhere I guess? This wasn't advertised online and we weren't made aware through the booking), so we couldn't check in, a guy came out of a nearby campervan and told us to come back and check in in the morning instead. So no food, we ate snacks in the van, due to no electric (which we were aware of, but that was ok before no food was offered) we couldn't use the kettle which limited more options. There was lots of space to park, we found a good view but it quite far away from the facilities, right by the facilities were some very loud residents (drum and bass into the night), no oversight by whatever staff there was for this. The ladies toilets were dated but clean, my partner used the men's and said they were filthy.

Disliked too windy, poor washing station which was smelly and unclean.

Excellent site for families and solo travellers
Primitive grass and earth tent campsite (small)
Liked The staff were friendly, the process of arrival was easy, lots to do there, close to perranporth, historic, and the newer porta-cabin shower block was okay.
Disliked The older shower block/toilets were a bit run down/ in need of repair. However due to campsite being quite quiet it was fine as we didn't need to use them.

Do not feel that write up is accurate about this site.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Very little about location and facilities.
Disliked It was extremely busy on arrival due to an event being held at the airport. We spent 20 minutes queuing on two occasions when we didn’t need to.
We could not access the cliff walk from the site and the walk into town was unsafe.
The cafe/bar was overpriced for the quality of food being served.
No details of car reg or anything taken to show that you were meant to be on the site- poor from a security point of view.
One toilet was permanently locked, meaning less facilities available
