What customers say
Consistently praised small, friendly site. Visitors love the spotless facilities, spacious pitches & helpful owners. Great for exploring. Minor points: narrow access roads, spotty WiFi, and a few reviews suggest it's better for couples/older folks due to quietness. Dog area available.

Powered gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Very clean and tidy pitch. We're late arriving and received a phonecall asking if OK and checking we knew where we were going which I appreciated. Facilities were great, clean and more than adequate. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Peaceful campsite away from the hustle and bustle.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Lovely little campsite, would say more suited to couples or the elderly. Our pitch was very nice and private surrounded by hedges. Clean toilets and showers.
Disliked Our pitch was sloped so we had to buy some levelling ramps, not sure if that’s a negative on the campsite because a campervan is supposed to have ramps anyway lol.
Shower heads could do with an update, not so bad for the men but harder for the girls with long hair.
There’s a little park for the kids but realistically it’s not a family campsite, we kind of felt like we couldn’t stay there all day because we was the only one with 3 loud children so we left every day and went to a campsite down the road with a clubhouse and even then we felt quite awkward turning back up at 10pm because it was so quiet and dark, felt like we was annoying people lol - All this being said i would certainly return if it was just me and my wife as it’s a peaceful site.

Great, well-kept little site!
FHU grass campsite
Liked Stayed 4 nights. Really friendly and helpful Staff. Campsite was really quiet with low traffic volume - surprising as it’s at the juncture of 3 roads. Pitches were very well kept, the toilets and showers were immaculate and there was a handy wee store at the registration office where you could buy simple essentials. There was also a small fenced off grass area where you could let your dogs off-lead. Importantly for me - you could walk directly to and from the South West Coast Path walk from this campsite.
