What customers say
A peaceful, quiet site with spacious spots and great amenities, like hot showers and clean restrooms. The neighbouring pub is a major draw, with fantastic food and a welcoming vibe. Many guests love the value, often getting camping fees discounted from food bills. Some facilities look a bit dated, and toilet paper can run out sometimes.

Great stay, lovely pub, very reasonably priced
Primitive grass campsite
Liked I had a great couple of nights at The Rising Sun with my van and my dog. Everyone was friendly, the pitches were big and the site was quiet. I went on a lovely walk from the site to a nearby holy well and waterfall following the iWalk app - it made it very easy and there's no way I'd have found those footpaths on my own
The pub is lovely and very popular - so rare for a pub these days to be busy with music, food and locals. Especially when out in the sticks a bit. They are doing something right!
