Pitches all close to showers and washing up
Quiet and peaceful
Stunning views all around
Grass cut ready for the season

  • Peaceful farm site with great views of Cornwall's countryside
  • Helston, Porthleven and Flambards Theme Park within 10 minutes' drive
  • Great area for walks and bike rides around the Helford river
Whether it’s castles, cycling or coastal jaunts that take your liking, let Boskenwyn Manor Farm introduce you to this quiet corner of the Cornwall countryside. The peaceful pitches have gorgeous views all around and sublime scenery isn’t short here… Between Helston and Gweek, around five minutes’ drive away, the site is well supplied with useful local amenities and a splendid area for walkers and bike riders. There are several traffic-free paths that will let you mark out your way through the surrounding countryside or along the nearby banks of the Helford river. You might prefer to clamber about the coast path, a couple of miles away, for walks around the fishing village of Porthleven, or hit the beaches and trails of the Lizard Peninsula within a few miles’ drive of the site. Whatever you get up to, be assured that there’s plenty of space to relax back on site, as there’s only ever a handful of guests at the farm at any one time. Facilities have been kept to just the basics, but they’re well looked after – a bespoke bathroom block has two toilets and two showers along with mains water supply. There’s also a recycling point and a grey water disposal area.

What customers say

This tidy, compact campsite provides a peaceful retreat with lovely views. Guests rave about the spotless, modern washrooms with thoughtful touches like dish soap and USB charging. Spacious, level pitches and a friendly owner are big pluses. While some wished for better shower controls, most loved it and want to return, finding it a great base for exploring.

Liked What a lovely site... perfect for a first camping experience for the youngest members of the family!

Generous pitch sizes.

Very nice washing up/toilet/shower facilities.

Quiet (apart from the noise from the youngest members of the family!) and peaceful.

Local attractions

Those of you who are set on getting to know some of Cornwall's history will be well-set from this site. The Museum of Cornish Life (five minutes’ drive) will get you off to a good start with a look at Cornwall in the 19th and 20th centuries… the Poldark Mine & The Cornish Heritage Collection (10 minutes) will take you down into the tunnels of an 18th-century tin mine… and out on St Michael’s Mount (25 minutes) over the causeway, there are legends all the way back to 495AD. After some sand between your toes? Praa Sands (20 minutes) has heaps, so get to sandcastle building, surfing or whatever else takes your fancy on this family-friendly beach. For somewhere quieter, Kynance Cove (half an hour) might fit the bill. This National Trust-managed cove is particularly pretty. For more things from the Cornish coast, the Cornish Seal Sanctuary (five minutes) keeps rescued grey seal pups. Looking to unwind somewhere inland? Flambards Theme Park (10 minutes) is packed with all sorts of rides, good news for families or the Trebah Garden (20 minutes) is a sub-tropical haven – with views of the sea still, but plenty to do on or offshore.
