What customers say
Highly recommend! Well-kept site, clean facilities, helpful staff. Spacious, quiet pitches. Great Cornwall base. WiFi can be spotty (they're upfront about it). Pegs can be tricky in hard ground; a bit remote for walking to services.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked we all enjoyed our stay at the park, it was very tidy surroundings, toilets and shower blocks kept clean, no noise disturbance, washing facilities were good, staff on the site friendly and polite, and close to some fantastic beeches and scenic walks.

Clean, nice pitches, sanitary, but good to know about the hard ground.
Powered grass campsite
Liked The welcome we had from Dan. The flexibility to move place because of strong winds. The sanitary was tidy and clean.
location is great, close to both sides of the coast line, within reach of a supermarket and for trucks visiting for eating on the campsite.
Disliked The ground is very hard, so lots of our pegs were broken, also our hammer.
It is good to know before coming to bring decent strong pegs and a heavy hammer.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. Please ensure you read the terms and conditions of a site before booking. In our Ts & Cs you are advised to bring strong pegs as our ground can be hard especially when we haven't had much rain which has been the case this summer.
